OK, now I'm pissed. I'm in Boalsburg and am blacked out of the Phillies game on TV tonight even though I have an MLB subscription.

I fear this is the harbinger of things to come. We'll need subscriptions to a cable system, Apple, Amazon, BTN on demand, and Peacock, et al to ensure we can see al PSU games.
Yep, we were talking about it too. Till you end up subscribing to every steaming system, cable may turn out to be less expensive. Or you do with out. Smoked an Alec Bradley Magic Toast with a glass of Basil Hayden and watched the stars. Checked the score on my phone. Hated to miss Harp’s return. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Stott had a spring that reminded me of Kingery that one year forever ago. Hit everything and he was on base every time you looked up. Then the season started and Stott looked like his swing got longer with him trying to do too much.

Both him and Bohm had a point in time where it could have gone south. Both responded and now you feel they might be really long term pieces. That’s HUGE to get cheap production.

I’m not sure of where the connection between Stott and Harper came from (other than maybe they train together Inn Vegas), but Harper will push and pull what’s there in Stott. That has to be a positive in the long run having #3 behind you.
guess hitting bohm 3rd & harper 4th wasn't such a bad idea after all ;).

Like last week, Ranger has another melt down inning, now 7-6. That's disappointing, but Segura's error didn't help. Now we have a game.

Harper needs to bat 3rd. Top of the order in the 9th inning yesterday and Harper never gets to the plate.

Walk in the winning run and then give up a walk off to lose again. Ughhhhhhhh. I’ve seen this picture before. C’mon Phillies!!!!

My bad, I thought they had more vs the Mets.
Well, at least that is one favorable for them given how the Mets have handled them. Braves probably play this out to the end to see if they can win division. That doesn’t help the Phillies if the Braves are still trying at the end against them.

It’s odd for them to be done with an division rival before Sept 1.

And next year, with the new schedule format and fewer division games, they don't see the Mets or Braves until Memorial Day weekend IIRC.

correct. We haven't really discussed this, but I'm really not a big fan of the new format, and playing every AL and every NL team. It really does reduce the number of division games, and that competition, especially in Sep., has lead to some great rivalries and some great contests into the final day of the season.

I guess I'll get used to the new format, and it will be nice to see some of the AL stars play at the CBP.
