I wanna cry right now I’m so happy. I know, wild card, long way to go, but just so happy to see this club back in the playoffs.

Growing up, Penn State was the team I followed everyday. Reading everything, living and dying on every game.

That’s my job now. The Phillies have now filled that hole in my life. So happy right now. Hell yeah boys. Let’s go.

If strider isn’t available for the Braves the phils have a good shot. Especially because they swept the cards and kept Ranger available for game 1 and the bullpen gets 2 days off. What a sports day we have next Saturday, Psu vs UM at noon and then the Phillies have a home playoff game as long as there isn’t a sweep

Just saw Strider went on the 15 Day List on 10/5. Without him, the series with the Braves looks much better from our perspective. Morton, Wright and Fried aren't names that scare me as a fan.

He went on September 21. He’s eligible to pitch this series but an oblique injury is not going to be 100% that quickly. There’s a reason scherzer got smoked yesterday(he’s pitching with a bad oblique)

Can't beat having LA in the background of the radio call during the playoffs.

I appreciate listening to the radio broadcast. I like LA’s perspective. He can be brutally honest sometimes, but is usually spot on. I wish he was on the TV broadcast.

I enjoyed seeing Scherzer get humbled a bit.

I guess Suarez is going game 1. Do we go with Gibson/Falter for game 2, or go with Wheeler on 4 days rest?

Mets are burnt toast!

But do not count out the Phillies!! At full strength the Phillies can beat the Braves.

Thompson made a huge mistake taking Wheeler out. No reason to, and here we go again, deja vu all season long. This series is over IMO. Nola will get shellacked tomorrow is my prediction. Hate to be negative but it’s reality.
This didn't age well

@RyanSnyder Do we think we know the Phillies start time on Saturday? Will in conflict with PSU?

TBD still. MLB doesn't prefer these games during the day though from a ratings perspective, even on the weekend. It'll most likely be in the evening, but it'll depend on what happens in the other games, too. MLB wants to avoid overlapping games.

Phils should get a favorable starting time Friday with only two games scheduled. Plus the other game @ SD should be a later start.
