Did anyone else see the NLDS promo on BTN seconds ago? It promoted the Dodgers-Mets and Braves Cardinals starting Tuesday?
Is Fox this stupid? (Rhetorical question.)
EDIT: I tried adding video from my phone of DVR playback but it says file too large. If anyone has any ideas, I'm all ears. It's a 30-second promo from Fox/FS1 on BTN

Good move by the Braves. Just pay early. We’re gonna see $40 million + contracts much more regularly by the end of the decade. Believe they signed their young outfielder to a similar deal a month or so back.
Just a mistake I assume. They make ads early all the time with different combinations. Similar to making t shirts for the runner ups
The guy absolutely earned this. I feel good about his decisions. Of course, every manager can be second guessed, but compared to Joe, I find myself second-guessing Thompson much less.
His only mistake during the Wild Card series was not putting vierling in for Castellanos in the 9th inning in game 2 for defense. All of his bullpen decisions were perfect.
They did, and a part of why they signed them is because one of the 2 will win ROY and if you win that you gain a year of service time and get to free agency quicker. Now it won’t impact them because they extended both of them by 2 years. Would love to see us do this with ranger and buy out his arb years and extend another 2 years. Possibly stott and marsh as well
That's right. Forgot about that. Yeah, makes all the more sense then. I would assume the Phils are scared to do that after Kingery, but Stott and Suarez certainly make the most sense in my eyes. Marsh has played pretty well since making the move. If he can bat .290ish next year, then yeah, I'm down with that too. He's proved to be a pretty good move so far.

Tickets are currently $220+ for standing room for Friday's game at CBP. A little bit rich for my taste for a baseball game with no seat.
Ranger had some control issues in the bottom of the 1st (a concern, as he's not going to beat you with overpowering stuff), but he got out of it.

D'Arnaud takes an inside changeup and puts it in the left field stands. 2-1 Phils, with Braves still batting in the bottom of the 2nd.

playoff baseball. plus, Ranger often flirts with trouble. With the Braves' lineup, it's not surprising that he's been keeping us on the edge. Hopefully he continues to avoid real damage before he gets to his pitch count.
really some $hitty game times. Friday right at rush hour. Saturday during the PSU game. If we get to game 5, at least the Phils and Birds won't be playing at the same time.
Castellanos sucked for extended stretches this season. But he is bringing the wood to the plate today. He drives in 2 more runs (with 2 outs) in the top of the 4th. 6-1, Phils, heading to the bottom of the 4th.
