Hmmm…this lines up with questions on Cox’s high usage rate so far in 2023. I hope he gets his back right. It’s a chance for Carter and the other young guys to show what they’re capable of against a pretty non-mobile QB in Stafford.
I still vividly recall that 61 yarder to beat the Giants in 2017. My wife made me take the family apple picking and I was listening to the game on SiriusXM. Jake’s a legend.
Eagles DL and CBs need to come to play tomorrow with Kupp back. The Rams can sling the ball around.
I’m excited to see Carter with more snaps. It feels like a breakout opportunity for him. And a get-on-track game for Reddick and Sweat.

If he makes it through the season without injury I’d say think about it in the offseason. His injury history scares me a little.

This sucks. I just saw the news that Darius Slay and Jalen Carter are out against The Jets. That's one team you want consistent DL pressure against. I hope Cox is back and that the other DLs can step up and harrass Zach Wilson all game. It'd be a shame to drop this one.

I don't think the Commanders are contenders for the Super Bowl, let alone the playoffs (well, they might have a chance for that). But they aren't a basement team. They took the Eagles to OT a few weeks ago.
