Edward's does not need to go to Stanford or Duke. She can enter the Honor's Program at Carolina, which is highly, highly rated.

She is a family girl and my guess is, she will stay close to home so her parents and friends can see her play. From her home in Camden, her family and friends can just take the short drive over.

Seriously, though, what other schools are in the running? I assume places like Stanford or Duke, based on the vibe I get from her. But I really have no idea.

I'm glad she is going be on the U19 USA team with Chloe Kitts. Chloe is very personable. Along with Raven, she's one of our more eager recruiters.

I don’t think we have to worry about Stanford. Yes, Distance is a factor, but they had an unsettling season. VanDever was wildly inconsistent with her player rotations. It led to three 5 star players entering the portal. Odd vibe out there.

I think you can also scratch Duke off the list. Fournier committed and she plays the same position/role.

UNcarolina might be a possibility but

I don’t think you will see her in the Honors College here. That is an immersive experience that requires time and social commitment beyond just the classroom.

I feel pretty confident she ends up here

I only wanted Beal to stay because I want her to to develop her offensive game more. With this offseason she could have work on jump shots and her all around game.

1st round pick in WNBA is only a guarantee of a small contract. Not like saying first round NBA or NFL or MLB.

I dare say had they never went to the WNBA someone would hire them and pay them more than they make now in the state. There’s tons of people making 50 K plus right out of college which is around what they make in the WNBA.

Stewart's not doing bad for herself. The 2nd contract gave her more freedom and she chose to play in the largest market, New York.

And on the flip side Sakima Walker was all but enrolled at Ole Miss to be their starting center. She was going to be THE post player Ole Miss and coach Yo had been lacking forever. She visited and decided to back up Cardoso.

Morrow will definitely add to LSU, and it will be on the boards where she makes her biggest impact.

She took 25 shots a game and shot 42%(52% her Fr. Season) a dismal 25% from 3. If you look at her game by game stats, she took significantly less shots in their losses and shot worse. She padded against bad teams and was slowed by good teams.

HVL and Reese were both in the top 10 in shot attempted and combined averaged 33 shots a game. Both are better players and scorers than Morrow.

Morrow is not the be all, end all of WBB players that the media has hyped her to be. WNBA scouts look at and say “great rebounder for an undersized PF, spotty midrange and poor 3 point shooter. Average on D.”

She will undoubtedly be preseason 1st team ALL SEC, but not make the year end team. She is a very good college player who will make LSU better but her game has significant holes. As far as I can tell she is a good person but her playing style was a bad fit for our roster.

In other news, Alisha Gray had another super game in the WNBA last night, leading Atlanta to an overtime victory over 2nd ranked Connecticut Sun. She had 27 points and 10 rebounds and played every minute in the game. She will be in the all-star game.
Aliyah Boston led the Indiana Fever to back-to-back victories this week with a record setting performance on Tuesday leading the team in points, rebounds, and assists, the first rookie in league history to do this. She is in the top five of all-star voting.
Aja Wilson is still doing her thing, leading the Aces to the best record in the WNBA and leading the league in all-star voting.
