PaoPao made her own little YouTube clip on her transition.

It seems like we all on this Forum work so hard to bring us WBB news. It's like mining for Gold. It's really hard .So I am going to award you a GOLD STAR for nugget of the month ! Thank you for sharing. It's hard to appreciate the work that the ladies put in w/out a video of this type. . I am REALLY pulling for pow pow now, even more than before.

Just finished watching it. She is definitely a talented hard worker. Can't wait to see her play for the Gamecocks. Interesting that she trains with Hailey Van Lith.

Want to echo everything you said and add…
TeHina is a cool and grounded young woman. She has faith, family, a vision for her future, and a work ethic all in order. And yet she brings a West Coast laid back mixed with hep cat cool attitude that we have never seen in this program.

I am really intrigued as to how that will rub off on the team and believe she will open doors for more West Coast recruits to land here.

AND she brings a Nike player into a UA school, making that a possibility for others in the future

I am optimistic that she will more than fill Zia's role even though I was a big Zia fan. I believe Paopao may be more talented!

I think PaoPao is a little underrated on what her potential is. Below is her 3 point percentage and attempts for her last month of basketball. When she's on she is lethal. I can only imagine what she can do with better pieces around her. My main concern with her is defense, if she can be solid then we'll have one of the nations best backcourts.Screenshot_20230915-124000.png

Which column is 3 point shooting? She will be a significant upgrade mid range to 3pt over Zia. Can she take to the rim and finish or the break like Zia? I don’t know, not because I doubt her but because I haven’t seen her play enough to know.

As to D, from the video you can clearly see she has gotten the message that D matters. Matters so much it will affect playing time. So much of D is mindset and desire. If she has that and clearly she does, then techniques and rotations will fall into place.

im excited about her coming her. I believe She is closer to our mindset than Van Lith, and she has a higher scoring efficiency than Van Lith.

The first column is 3PM, the second column is 3PA and the third column was the 3 point percentages. In a 4-5 week span she was shooting anywhere from 42% to 85% from 3 with a lot of attempts against mostly PAC-12 power 5 talent.

I wouldn't be concerned with Hayley V L.....Between Angel and Flau jae , sh
I wonder if those two will resent Haley VL being on the team and getting a lot of attention. It will be interesting to see how those 3 will mesh if they mesh at all....She may regret her decision to go to LSU. I would love to see her at a school like Iowa, Indiana, Iowa State.

yeah ...the next C Clark or Sabrina. Instead she may be screaming " I was open, give me the ball" every trip down the court.

Does anyone have any intel on Arianna Roberson the 6'4" forward from San Antonio? I would love to see highlights but could not find any. I know some of you women's basketball gurus will have some info. She has steadily moved up the charts and is now #19 nationally...Dawn may want to take a look.

I don’t see HVL as a big loser of shots in this transfer. Flau’jae is the biggest loser. HVL and Morrow are prolific shooters and better than her. They brought in the #2 player in the country, Willlams, and she plays Flau’jae’s position.

The other big loser in this is Morrow. She led the nation in shots attempted at over 23 per game. She will have her attempts almost cut in half.

So apparently Kim Mulkey is infecting everyone but SC and Tenn with Out of Conference scheduling. These seem to be getting more and more pathetic. You will see teams like this with padded records but when it matters, they will struggle alot. SC, Tenn, UConn and a few others will be the only ones ready to go. Preseason WBB will be dull as dirt. If they want to grow their sport they need to be playing more competitive games before Conf play. ESPN isnt going to put 90% of these games from all these teams on TV, no one will watch. I guess more TV time for us though.
Our football program would do well to take their scheduling cues from the Dime Store Queen - at least until we are actually legit.

Tried to give 100$ worth of "community tics " yesterday for Dawn's 16 for 16 campaign and it was too much trouble... Go to ticket master, pick the options...done...dollar amount ...done . Open an account with ticket master, get a password, now login.....NEVER MIND TOO MUCH TROUBLE !!!

I guess we'll get our nonconference schedule in Paris at this rate.
Alabama’s OOC dropped yesterday, so we are officially last to announce. Hey, and guess what?
They have scheduled NO games against top 25 teams and only 1 game against a team who made the NCAA Tournament, USF. Their second toughest game is against Clemson

I don't take issue with teams that were on the bottom end of SEC last season or struck out really badly with recruiting scheduling a little easier. But man these top 50 teams scheduling so weak is hurting the sport that is finally getting some more mainstream attention.

I got no beef with Auburn, Kentucky or Vandy scheduling down. Maybe even Mizzou. Everyone else has some chance to make the tournament if they gel or get hot.

The fact that UT and the Gamecocks are playing more top 25 teams (10) than the rest of league (9) is insane. Throw in the fact that 5 of those 9 were rivalry games or mandated ACC Challenge games.

That means 12 teams with 150 opportunities willingly scheduled only 4 top 25 teams. That is…. well, choose your adjective cowardly, chickenshite, shameful

I believe in seeing whats out there and making sure you are comfortable with you choice ,BUT, don't most players have a really good idea at this point in the year. ? I didn't like the Morrow decision but I think she made the choice and chose not to waste Dawns time and money on another visit.

Adhel Tac visited UGA last weekend
Coach Abe might lose her mind if Tac comes here. They were convinced Madisen McDaniel was solidly committed to them…. and she then decided to take a visit to us. Rumors are she ballistic when she found out
