ConcussionI bet Tenn board is in melt down mode!
Saw where Kentucky lost too but atleast Eniya has turned into one of their more productive players which makes me happy! What’s going on with Maddie Scherr … is she hurt?

UT without Rickea is MAYBE a .500 team and not going to the dance. Anyone know her injury and it’s extent? I think Harper survives this year. She always seems to able to pull a rabbit out of her hat. BUT the program seems on the edge of collapseI bet Tenn board is in melt down mode!

She was wearing a boot, so it's some type of lower leg injury.UT without Rickea is MAYBE a .500 team and not going to the dance. Anyone know her injury and it’s extent? Don't you go and jinx us like that!!Next question….. We have had one serious injury in the last 6 seasons, Raven with an ACL. I can’t even count UConn’s probably 10.
Fragile vs durable athletes? Bad luck? Molly Binetti’s S&C vs their’s?
Let's not do this, this feels like a surefire way to bring this bad luck to our team.Next question….. We have had one serious injury in the last 6 seasons, Raven with an ACL. I can’t even count UConn’s probably 10.

Since we play both teams no matter who wins it's the same for our SOS. I can't bring myself to root for either team.Thoughts on UNC VS UCONN Sunday? Anyone?
Lele's injury was significant. We only lost to Stanford by 1, Boston and Amihere were in foul trouble and Saxton was a no-show in that game. We could have used Lele on Jones for sure.Next question….. Some tenn fans say they will never go after lawson. Word is she negative recruits against them. Who knows.Tomorrow, the talk around the water cooler in Tennessee offices is going to be, Kelli is running this program in the ground.
I say for UT's sake, go after the DUKE coach!!!

I think she’s somewhat close to being back. They showed her shooting the other day without the boot.UT without Rickea is MAYBE a .500 team and not going to the dance. This was posted a few days ago. No clues from this but looks encouraging that she might be close.
If UNC plays like they did against us they should win easily imoThoughts on UNC VS UCONN Sunday? Anyone?
I am very surprised at the lack of production by Spear. She was so dominant at times for Wake. Maybe she needs the ball in her hands moreWhile I pull against Tennessee I do not want them to spin completely out of control as I would love for Harper to stay on as coach as long as possible. that program, in the right coach's hand, could become a thorn again for SC.
Also - your thoughts on the recent disappearing act by Jewel Spear - she of the 16 pts per game avg. in the ACC. I know that you were aggravated when she decided to transfer late in the process from Wake to UT. So far, and thankfully, Paopao is looking like the better get as a 2g/point for our team.
Slump, scheme, or just better off being 'Robin' to RJ's "Batman' - Perhaps she is wishing she was back at Wake?
Loved Pat Conroy!!!!I am very surprised at the lack of production by Spear. She was so dominant at times for Wake. Maybe she needs the ball in her hands more
OR maybe Harper has what Pat Conroy described as the SADIM Touch in Prince of Tides. SADIM IS MIDAS spelled backwards and everything the dad touched didn’t turn to gold it turned to![]()
Geno went small last night, starting two freshman, Shade and Arnold, along with Bueckers, Edwards and Muhl. Trying to matchup against Texas didn't work, so he was like "screw it," I guess. If UNC plays like they did against us they should win easily imo
Could it be that because we are more efficient on our out side shots, their are less rebounds available on the offensive side.Well, it's complicated. We may actually have more rebounds this season. We lead the nation in rebounds at 53 per game ( against the 2nd toughest schedule so far, btw). Last year we averaged 49. But we are playing at a much faster pace, so there are more rebound opportunities.
Outside of the UNC game, I've been pleased with the rebounding. I agree, though, we won't be as dominate on the boards as last year.
Disappointing for 2 of our starters. Appears to be minor but ... Still waiting for someone to separate themselves as the leader. Seems to be by committee right now. I was hoping it would be Raven or Kamilla. Not sure Kamilla has the personality to do that but Raven does. She needs to mature a bit. I think she will
@DarkCock knows his analytics and rebounding has so many measureables that there are myriad of ways to interpret. Some of the more helpful ones don’t show up unless you use a service. Rebounding margin is a great indicator but also rebounding rate on both the offensive and defensive boards. We are rebounding 46.2% of our own missed shots which is almost identical to last season. We are rebounding 76.2% of our opponents missed shots.Could it be that because we are more efficient on our out side shots, there are less rebounds available on the offensive side.
We rebounded 48.9% of missed shots last year. That lead the NCAA last year. We are currently 8th this year.@DarkCock knows his analytics and rebounding has so many measureables that there are myriad of ways to interpret. DarkCock can correct me and let us know how those numbers rank

I couldn't find the answer exactly, but I did learn the 68% was the 2nd best shooting performance in program history. Also...When was the last time we shot 68%?![]()
Totally surprised, not how you want to start conference play if you're Duke.Anybody paying attention to the Clemson - Duke game? Clemson up by 17 with 3:29 to go![]()
lol. I thought about that last night when Morgan State shot 13 free throws. They drove into the lane and got shots block or simply missed, but sometimes they got the foul call.Duke only shot 3 free throws for the game. Wonder if Kara is going to call out the officials again in her post game presser??
A piece of bad new. Maybe she enrolls early?
