I think those shooting stats are incorrect on Spear. However she is their second leading and a big threat. TeHina is becoming a good defender but she is not Raven or FulwileySome interesting numbers on Jewel Spear in conference play:
4th in Player Efficiency Rating
4th in 2 point percentage (60%) and 7th in 3 point percentage (43%)
1st in Points Per Play
1st in Offensive Win Share
1st in Player Offensive Rating
Honestly, she's been a much better offensive player than Jackson this season. I think Dawn will be hesitant to put Paopao on her. So either Bree or Raven get the assignment. Generally, coach likes Raven on the opposing team's primary ball handler, so she will most likely defend Powell imo.
Trueshe can definitely shoot but her defense is terrible. Hopefully, whoever she is guarding is on and can take advantage to offset any offense she generates
I sorted by conference only. She's been killing it in SEC play. Won Player of the Week a couple of times.I think those shooting stats are incorrect on Spear. However she is their second leading and a big threat. TeHina is becoming a good defender but she is not Raven or Fulwiley

Yeah, she has one of the lowest defensive ratings in the conference.she can definitely shoot but her defense is terrible. Hopefully, whoever she is guarding is on and can take advantage to offset any offense she generates
and top that with Bree Hall looking lost.Chloe with 4 turnovers in a quarter of play!

Watkins needs to play the entire 2nd half. I don't care who doesn't start, Chloe, Bree. Watkins needs to be on the floor.Bench has 14 points; starters have 11 points at the half.
Raven finished with 15 REBOUNDS. Wow.We’re outrebounded 28-20 at the half and Raven has 6 rebounds.
Also, we ended up +6 for the game on rebounds, so +14 in the second half. We’re outrebounded 28-20 at the half and Raven has 6 rebounds.
We outrebounded them by 4 for the game. So +12 in the 2nd half. Playing Watkins and Cardoso pretty much the entire 4th quarter made a big difference in that stat. Overall, just an exceptional defensive effort. Spear didn't score a point. Most of Jackson's production came with Watkins off the court. On to Georgia and setting the record for consecutive SEC wins. We’re outrebounded 28-20 at the half and Raven has 6 rebounds.
Looking at the final box score, we actually finished +7 in rebounds. A fierce 2nd half. Also, we ended up +6 for the game on rebounds, so +14 in the second half.
I'll take it, but my hatred was hoping for greater gratification. I feel about them the way I used to feel about UNC MBB in the old days. I want to gut-stomp them any chance we get.An 11 point victory in arguably our worst game of the year. I’ll take it.
same. but we get them again in a few weeks in the friendly confines of the CLA so another chance at a Vol beatdown awaitsI'll take it, but my hatred was hoping for greater gratification. A nice adjustment by the coaching staff to have Raven crash the defensive boards. The first time I noticed it was the LSU game, but it may have started sooner. Chloe is just OK on the defensive boards, so we need an extra body. The opposing team's point guard seldom boxes out, so that leaves Raven free. Raven is so fast in transition that she can still initiate a fast break from a defensive rebound.Dang. Raven with 15 boards!!
I hope it's unmerciful.same. but we get them again in a few weeks in the friendly confines of the CLA so another chance at a Vol beatdown awaits
Oregon State should not play in Portland as a 3 seed. One seed, OK. Not a 3 seed. Same goes for UCONN playing in Albany.
By the way, where to you get college box scores with +/-?+/- is just the point differential when a player is on the court. I suspect Kitts went negative when Cardoso went to the bench at the end of the 1st. Watkins was -10 at the half. She finished 0, meaning she was +10 in the 2nd half playing alongside Cardoso. So there's a theme: this team is much better when Cardoso is on the floor. Maybe not so much against a team that plays 5 out, like Mizzou, but definitely against a physical team like LSU.
Google Statbroadcast and South Carolina. They have box scores for all USC teams.By the way, where to you get college box scores with +/-?
PAC-12 Friday nights never disappoint. Oregon St and Utah beat UCLA and Colorado, respectively, on buzzer beaters.
Aubrey Griffin officially comes back as well. I feel like Geno might retire next year with these seniors.
