24 Points in 16 Minutes of Court Time. Love Dawn, but I don’t know what she is doing with limiting Fulwiley’s minutes. Our offense is stagnant and sort of unproductive without Fulwiley being a part of it. It’s time to win now. Even Phil Jackson abandoned the Triangle offense and gave the ball to Michael or Kobe when it was time to win.
Carolyn Peck said toward the end, "Paopao on the bench. I wonder how long before Dawn brings her back in." Was Peck watching the game? Why would she take out Fulwiley?

Dawn rarely plays Raven, Paopao and Fulwiley at the same time. I guess that's the dilemma: she has to pull Raven or Paopao to play Fulwiley. Raven is such an excellent defender with good size, for a guard, that I think she could defend most 3's and they could all play together for stretches. Coach doesn't seem inclined to agree, though.

Reese and Mulkey effected a menacing air in postgame. Reese said multiple times, "We're not afraid of South Carolina. Some teams go, OOOH, they're number one. They're afraid of them. We're not afraid of South Carolina." Mulkey followed confidently, "I like where we are; we're playing some pretty good basketball."

The entire news conference was them throwing down the gauntlet with Mulkey making a big deal out of them having their whole team when they play us again, which she says can't be until the Final Four.

This ending and the demonstrative dislike is beginning to remind me of the old ACC MBB days near the end. Genuine hatred is taking hold. To tell you the truth, this is the first time we've had it in any sport since we joined this league, and it took WBB to generate it.

Y'all need to get on YouTube and watch it.

What whole team? LSU only plays their starters. LOL! I guess they will have Poa back from Concussion protocol. She is good for 2-3 points a game.

Yeah, she wasn't bad. We finished even with her on the court. But we should have added to the lead with Del Rosario on the floor and no Reese imo.
I don't understand how Del Rosario got her whistle but our bigs couldn't get nothing.

Stanford losing by double digits to SoCal and JuJu Watkins is only 2-15 from the field with 6 turnovers.

I think South Carolina and LSU are the best two teams going into the tournament. Of course, they are both beatable. I'm just saying no one else is blowing me away right now.

Hey, SHE said it. ANGEL also said it. It is true that they are playing well. Somehow we've got to regain the superiority that we displayed earlier on. The first couple of rounds should be eminently manageable. After that, we've got to apportion the minutes to the most productive players.

After watching it the words that came mind were defiant and pugnacious.

Saying that Flau’jae’s intentional foul of Fulwiley was smart was well dumb. If Kamilla doesn’t lose it, Fulwiley shoots two and we get the ball. Game over.
The comment about Cardoso was schoolyard bully talk and just low class.

I just think we are 6-10 points better than LSU. It would be more if Dawn put the pedal down and played her best 5 more minutes together. Of course, they can catch us if we don’t play well. They came in physical and talking today. Took an L again.

Police did a great job. There were two other men, probably Flau’jae’s family members, that were trying to rush the court as well. They were stopped in the aisle before they could get there. This could have gotten really ugly.

Fla'jae's brother didn't seem to have a plan once he jumped on the court. Hopefully he spends the night in the Greenville jail.

I think he was the catalyst for this thing blowing up into something newsworthy. Cardoso got in her ejection-worthy push and Paopao immediately grabbed her and pulled her away. At that point, this thing was basically over, as evidenced by the fact that nobody else was ejected for "fighting." But then that doofus jumped onto the court and suddenly players felt the need to leave the bench area. On top of whatever criminal penalties he may face, hopefully, LSU bans him and his two buddies from any other games.

LSU is looking like a #2 seed, so most likely UCLA or Ohio St will be the #2 in our regional. If Texas completely bombs in the Big XII tourney, they are also a possibility.

Regarding the LSU post game conference, I can respect Angel Reece's comments. I don't like her but she stood up for her team's performance. She didn't make excuses for the loss.

Mulkey on the other hand failed to acknowledge Flau'jee Johnson's push on Ashlyn Watkins as the cause for the rumble. Mulkey (paraphrasing) said it should have only involved the two players jawing at each other. Her player did more than jaw. I agree with Mulkey's assessment that officiating was a factor with the tempers getting out of hand.

I bet the networks showing the tournament will insist on scheduling format that includes a rematch possibility.

I agree wholeheartedly with this. Police and security stood tall on this one. The incident was quickly squelched.

I find it comical that LSU, the queens of throwing elbows with intent to hurt every team (not to push to get for position), who taunt every team they play including us, is crying on their board that we are allowed to play rough. LOL. Think about the class Boston and the freshies exhibited. Tough, but didn't talk crap and played within the rules. The teams that stated, like LSU, they were going to bring it to us, brought it in a fighting and taunting manner. They get beat, then whine.

Angel Reese is loved by the media bc they need personalities. She and Murrow are dirty players and elbow around the head with intent to hurt. They throw people down, then whine when they get thrown down. Every taunt that came out of SC vs LSU was due to how they started acting last year. Reese's too small move unfortunately has others doing it....including on our team. I hate that.

We have 3 players that talk crap (Fulwilley, Watkins, Feagin). They usually start after someone does it to them.
What KC did today was unwarranted. I bet she won't do it again and Dawn won't let it. But she gets the hell beat out of her bc of her size constantly. I love Reese's attempt to take KC's head off with her forearm, then act like she's an angel. I have seen LSU try to punk every team they play......they can't punk us and it pisses them off.

So for the LSU fans poining fingers and whining about "rough play," you have three fingers pointing back at yourself. The mirror does not lie.

It was stupid on his part. His sister got pushed down in a heated basketball game, and he feels the need to jump the table. Laughable.
However, he didn't do anything once he did that, and you could tell he probably wished he had not. He should have been just escorted out. Jail would be a bit much. He didn't punch or swing at anyone............so what's his charge? Running onto a court he shouldn't have. Not jail worthy.

I took Reese’s comments as frustration. I could hear it in her voice. We are obviously the team that she just absolutely cannot beat. Whether at Maryland or LSU, not to mention Van Lith has obviously gotten the business from USC before as well. I think their whole team is frustrated that the one hump they can’t get over is beating us and it showed in the press conference.

Regarding Mulkey, she’s just a piece of work. I will possibly give her the benefit of the doubt that she truly may not have realized that Johnson initiated the first push. If she didn’t, then what did she apologize to Dawn about in the handshake line? There was obviously wrongdoing on both sides.

She's big on criticizing officials for rough play when she loses. Her team plays rough every game trying to intimidate others and gets in your face on every play. Kim want's to play sweet mom when they lose at their own game. Every rough play they think we got, they did twice. WE are better than them, it eats her up.

You have to arrest him because what’s to stop another overzealous fan from coming onto the court. Anyone that thinks fans have a place on the court need to go back and watch the video of “The Malace at the Place”. Just can’t have fans thinking they can do that. Let Flau’jae use some of that NIL money to bail him out.

I totally understand Kamilla's reaction to the situation after having lived in Latin America for the last 12 years. Latin families are VERY tight knit. You mess with one family member and you mess with the whole family. She barely reacted at all when AR assaulted her in the first half. But when Johnson elbowed Watson she wasn't going to stand for someone messing with her "family" and emotions got the best of her. That was not the real Kamilla that we have come to know over the last two years.....just the Latina culture taking over in the heat of the moment.

GO GAMECOCKS......16 in a row and counting!!!
