As goes Saylor Poffenbarger, so goes Arkansas. In the game in Columbia, she played 27 minutes, scoring 0 points and grabbing 1 rebound. If you're going to play a finesse 4 against us, she better score. Ideally, she would step up and compete on the boards as well. Neither happened in the 1st game. It will be interesting to see if Neighbors makes any adjustments.

I haven't seen able update on Daniels' injury. If she's less than a 100%, that's a big blow to Arkansas.

A great game for everyone outside of Zia. Hopefully this will instill confidence in our team and Zia can bounce back. Most importantly we got to rest our players and that should pay dividends.

And so few minutes for the starters. Hoping OM and A&M go to triple OT with an A&M victory

I know right? Exactly the reason I wanted this matchup. Arkansas is soft as tissue. Victaria with 19 points. Amihere with 16 points and 5 boards. I can't remember the last time either scored in double figures.
You are so right! Their 2 Bigs 3-16 with 2 REBOUNDS

It's looking like Stanford is going to be the 4th #1 seed. I was hoping to avoid them until the finals. They continue to be disappointing, so maybe I shouldn't care.

The only chance for any change in the seeding of the #1 teams is an Iowa victory over Maryland today. I guess LSU is still in the running for a 1 seed.

Stanford can match our size but they are still struggling with PG play while ours has gotten much better as of late …Fletcher’s play especially.

the fact that we were able to survive against them early in the season in a tough road environment (plus long trip to get there) when we were struggling with inconsistent PG play & both Raven & KF were also on a minutes restriction helps me to like our chances on a neutral court if we meet up in the tournament (first things first, of course)

This year has been so chaotic that they still might remain #3. They just lost to a good UCLA team so it likely won't hurt them too much. Maryland/Iowa, Utah , LSU and UConn are the likely #1 seed contenders.

The winner of today's Iowa/Maryland matchup is likely the favorite, followed by and SEC tournament winning LSU, Utah and then UConn. If the Maryland/Iowa winner or LSU win their tournament they could possibly push Stanford to #4 seed but everybody else would likely be the 4th #1seed.

UConn wins. Fudd returned but Ducharme left game again after another hit to the head and did not return. they are seriously rolling the dice with her long term if they continue to play her this year after the issues she’s had with concussions.

I will be surprised if Stanford makes it to the Finals. They can't seem to put together 3 good games in a row. I guess it depends on how good the PAC-12 is or isn't. Stanford and UCLA gave us two of our best games, so maybe it's just a case of them playing in a tough conference.

I’m trying to figure out why dawn is letting the starters stay in this late in the game.

Gamecocks win over the Rebels 80-51 to return to the SEC Tournament Championship game for the 4th consecutive season and 8th time over the last 9 seasons.

Laeticia Amihere led the Gamecocks off the bench with 17 pts on 7-10 shooting, and added 7 assists, 6 rebounds, and 3 blocks. Zia Cooke rebounded from her 1-10 shooting effort in the previous round to score 14 pts on 4-8 shooting. Brea Beal added 13 pts on 5-7 shooting despite being in foul trouble.

In addition to Amihere's effort, the Gamecocks got strong paint presence from their Twin Towers, with Kamilla Cardoso contributing 12 pts on 5-7 shooting, with 12 rebounds and 5 blocks, and Aliyah Boston adding 10 pts on 4-9 shooting, with 11 rebounds and 2 blocks.

The Gamecocks now await the outcome of the next game between LSU and Tennessee, to see who they will face tomorrow. The Championship game is set for 3:00 pm, and will be on ESPN......

Who makes the All SEC tournament team will be interesting. You literally could make arguments for 4/5 players.

Amihere with 16.5 ppg in 40 minutes while shooting 13-23 (.565) with 5.5 rpb and 1.5 bpg, and Saxton with 12.5 ppg in 39 minutes, while shooting 11-18 (.611), in the first 2 rounds of the SECT. Beal also with 9.5 ppg in 45 minutes while shooting 7-9 (.778). Not too shabby at all from 3 Gamecocks that are not usually looked towards to for offense. This team seems to be running at a high level of efficiency right now, which is a good time for it.....

Laeticia Amihere added 7 assists!

Also, after we beat LSU tomorrow, LSU is the only 2 loss team in the country. #2 imho.

That's not how that works, SOS matters. They have one loss to the only currently ranked team they played. In previous years a schedule like that would net you a 3 or 4 seed at best and ranked somewhere 8-12.

Stanford looking better for the 3rd or even 2nd #1 seed today. Indiana, Maryland, LSU all lose.
