Naming those other two games is a challenge. I know for sure we were down by more than 10 points two years ago against A&M and lost that one, so the other two games happened after the final regular season game of 2020-2021.

We were down 10 against Kentucky earlier this season. We won the game by 29.

That leaves one more game.
Could Missouri or Arkansas be one.

Basically, we get down 10 points with Saxton on the floor and Cardoso comes in and we charge back. I don't know...it feels like playing with fire. Get down 10 against the wrong team in the tournament and we're done. But Dawn always seems to dial up the right lineup in crunch time. **fingers crossed**

I somewhat agree. Production and minutes are down. This season has seen a lot of shifting of roles.

LA has stayed focused, contributed where she can and been a team player and teammate.

I hope she takes her Covid season, but I also hope she transfers to a program where she can play 30 minutes a game. It would help her development tremendously.

She's playing out of position as Brea's backup at the 3. When Aliyah had the cramps, I was hoping Dawn would bring Amihere in at the 4. Of course, she brought Saxton instead. Saxton was -8 for the quarter.

At this point it's clear that Dawn is going to ride or die with Victaria. I feel bad for LA. She deserves better.

Hopefully some place where she's surrounded by shooters. She has a very good first step that she can use to get by 4's or 5's. We only see hints of it because the paint is usually clogged.

LA should play better. She has in the past, why not now? I'm not comparing her to Saxon. I'll let others do that.

I hope Beal and LA come back for their COVID year. Would help their draft stock. They would be more of the marquee names next year.

A great starting 5 next year would be: Fulwiley, Beal, LA, Cordosa, Feagin.

LA and Saxton play the same position, the 4. But to make room for all our bigs LA is playing backup 3 and even point guard. Sacrificing for the team. Those are not her natural positions. So it's disappointing that fans think she's not playing well.

According to ESPN's latest mock draft, Brea is the 7th pick. It would be difficult to improve that ranking. But I would love for her to come back. Unfortunately, I just don't see it.

As for the starting lineup: I think you could safely pencil in Raven as a starter.

Stanford and Utah play at 2pm today. Stanford is probably no worse than the 2nd or 3rd #1 seed. A win today and they are a lock.

For the UCONN haters, if the Utes win, then the Huskies have no shot at a #1 seed.

Maryland won last night at Ohio State. I'm guessing that pushed them ahead of LSU.

If LSU does not make it to the SEC Championship game AND play us close, they will drop to a 3 seed.

Villanova is the only game that would help UCONN. Even with that win I don’t think it’s enough to get them a #1 seed. I also don’t think they can beat them in a 3 games in 3 days scenario

I wouldn't be surprised if LSU doesn't make the SEC championship game. They played a lot of close games and they lack depth. Even in almost 20 points victory over Vandy. Reese and Morris played 37 minutes and Flau'jae played 32 minutes. Playing those kind of minutes back to back doesn't seem like a winning strategy, especially if they play Georgia which is currently projected.

Yeah, Georgia will be a tough out. They'll be tough tomorrow. There are a lot of other teams I would rather face. I don't think they'll be able to score enough points to beat us, but it wouldn't shock me if they make a run in Greenville.

Utah and Stanford are playing for keeps. Alissa Pills, Utah’s star, got 2 fouls in the first quarter. Got her 3rd a minute into the second quarter!! Did she sit?? Oh HELL NO!!! Utah by 6 at the half

UConn vs. DePaul. Late 4th DePaul up 2 and laying it all out but BE officials keeping Huskies in the game .

I was watching the baseball game today and did not watch this game. If fact, I haven't watched Utah play all year. What do they have going for them? Which of the two would you rather have us face in the tourney?

3 point shooting. They are a tough team but they live and die by the 3. I still don't think I would want to play Stanford, they still are likely the only team with more size than us.

With the win today and Indiana losing to Iowa, we locked up the #1 overall seed imo regardless of what happens in the SEC tournament.

As for the rest of the #1 seeds, I assume Indiana is one, probably no worse than the 3rd #1. I'm hoping Stanford doesn't fall to the 4th #1 seed. I want to avoid them as long as possible.

agreed.

I think the only way Stanford falls to 4 is either a quarterfinal rd loss in the pac12 tourney or a second straight loss to Utah, assuming both make the final. If Utah goes out before Stanford, then yesterday‘s loss would equal a wash & status quo maintained .

A case could be made that Utah resembles the Kentucky team that beat us last year in the SEC tournament. While they do have 5 shooters on the floor at once, I don't think they are athletic and physical enough to beat us.

Personally, I want to avoid Stanford over any team in the tournament. They have a player in Ashton Prechtel who, 2 years ago on the Final Four, scored 9 points and grabbed 8 boards against us. She barely plays now because Stanford has such an excess of quality bigs. Against us, though, a team can never have too many bigs.

I heard Fulwiley is injured and will miss the playoff and the McDonalds All-American game. Hopefully nothing too serious.

Their team already lost in the playoffs to Gray Collegiate. They lost most likely bc she did not play. I don’t think hee injury is that serious. She’s been posting pics and there is nothing on her ankle. The pics could not be current though, not sure.

We need to win that dern thing, though, to make up for last year's debacle.
