DC girl. Announcing at halftime of boys game of this high school invitational. Game starts about 4:00, so announcement around 4:40.
Her team is the #1 seed on girl’s side of the tournament. They easily took down their opponent in the semis. Kendall scored 21 pts on 10/16 shooting, 13 rebs, and 5 asts. She looks like a 6’2 A’ja.

I have no clue where she’s headed but we’re in her final 10 so 🤷🏻‍♂️.

I watched a couple of Baylor games last season and never saw Edwards or Blackwell. They disappeared.
Blackwell got injured and I believed redshirted for the season. Edwards transfer wasn't approved for immediate availability since this is her 2nd transfer. With everyone back Baylor could be interesting.

Stanford is in some serious trouble if they lose Betts. She was a huge key for their future and unlike most getting transfers to go to Stanford is extremely hard to do because of how hard it is to get in, even as a student athlete.
We were VERY involved with Betts. Made her final group.

There was a big kerfuffle with Edwards. Baylor wanted Elzy to sign a waiver(concerning academics)so she could play this season. Elzy publicly and loudly said, if I were to sign it, I would be lying.

That would be huge if you chose us but I can see her going elsewhere. But two 6'7 post players would be insane. I'm just hoping it's not UConn and I prefer she not go to LSU either.

Trust me I remember, and Elzy was totally right. Also her father was awful for harassing Elzy and complaining about forcing his daughter to get an education.

I'm starting to think Tara is retiring. Another loss.

On second thought nevermind, I was thinking this was Lepolo their starting PG at first.

I had a feeling about her early in the season but then Louisville made the elite 8. This one is a little shocking!

Very. Where do you think she'll land?
That I don’t know … she’s from Washington state so she could be going back closer to home but I could also see her wanting to win a natty so LSU or she could play the 2 for us 😋

Just looked up her commitment to Louisville and it said she chose them over Baylor so maybe she will go play for Kim.

On main board they are saying Markeisha Grant (former gamecock) was the first to make the announcement and she already has do not contact. So she knows where she is going . Now we wait!

Other than Brink, Jones and Jump the starters and substitution rotation At Stanford was erratic. All season long it was musical chairs that I could not decipher. Maybe others can shed some light

I am genuinely shocked by the Van Lith announcement, she has been such a big and vocal supporter of both Jeff Walz and Louisville. She has been the face of that program, I just can't believe it.

Louisville may be in trouble as well, Jeff has 0 recruits coming in, we took his top 2 targets Kitts and Fuliwiley. He'll have to solely depend on the transfer portal.

Van Lith is the first name in the portal that I can say would be a great fit for us. We need a wing who can score. And it seems like a great opportunity for her, but I'm biased.
She's more of a shooting guard and is a smaller one at that. She has a huge personality that could ruin a locker room and Dawn will not let one her players openly cuss at other players and showboat like she normally does.

Kim Mulkey will be the SEC’s dominant force going forward. Sadly, I think she’s a better coach and recruiter than Dawn, and the championship has now made her a legend. So sad we lost to the Caitlins…

nonsense. The last 3 times Dawn faced her, guess who won. Dawn beat her when she was at Baylor a few years back during a tournament last season at LSU and this year at the CLA. Mulkey is a good coach and recruitor but so is Dawn.

The one with the most rings reigns. It's as bitter as vinegar, but that's the way it is when it's immediately current like this. Since this is Masters Week, what happened last week in Dallas represented a two-ring swing.

Zia was small, too. We need a shooting guard. Breezy can play the 3. So she's a fit in that sense. I really have no idea about her personality.

Correction, the last three times Dawn has faced her, She has beaten her. Once at Baylor and twice while she was at LSU. Also, even with the growth in talent she recieved with last year's class and transfer portal, South Carolina still has the highest amount of rated talent betweent the two teams. Remember, our 2021 Class was rated #1 also including the #2, #3, #4 and #14 players in the class. Now I know that Rivers #3 left, but we replaced her with #5 Cardozo. Also the class this year was #2 overall with many in the recruiting ranks stating if we would have taken another player, we would have been #1 over LSU's Class. I remember these same quotations when Miss. St notched their first victory over SC and then knocked off Uconnn. Alas it was not to be. Dawn will continue to outrecuit most anybody in the country and is an excellent coach.
