Well prestonyte has made sound that it is a foregone conclusion that DS would oppose all transgender athletes. Wait..... you don’t think this whole bitching by him is a disingenuous ploy? To try and out DS as a horrible person? Just to further his own agenda? I’m shocked!! Say it’s not so!
This is not my agenda. Much bigger than that. Reporters ask coaches questions every day and they answer - are they "trying to out them"? Half the fans like what coaches say and the other half do not. That's life. This "nobody can ask questions mentality" is a detriment to the public being informed and why people have to dig to find the truth on any subject.
I have supported Dawn and her program throughout this thread including her stance on Boston not being invited by ESPN. That was the issue of the moment but this is a much bigger impact issue with long term effects for all women's sports.

Much bigger impact?? Seriously? There are around 500,000 student athletes participating annually....32 transgender since 2010, Even if they all participated in the same year, that is 0.0064%. That ain't much of any impact.

It is psychological manipulation to take a non-issue and create an issue to cause political and/or social outrage. It is gaslighting at its finest and polititians have been doing it for years.....and they still get plenty of people to buy in.

And almost 1/3 of those athletes were women transitioning and playing on a male team.

And you think those stats are stagnant (or accurate) with the government/agenda push behind this issue outlined above? Are those stats telling you "this will never happen"? I read local stories from around the country which tells me the impact is under reported from the junior leagues through high school nationwide. If you wait for mainstream news to tell you and for stats to move you - it will be too late. It is in motion and slowly cooking the frog until someone stops it.

Nothing says bush league coach and ACTIVIST more than going after one of the Wokest companies ever because one of your players did not get invited to an awards ceremony. Each coach in every league from high school up could act this way with one of their star players. Some stay classy and let their players do the talking….OTHERS LIKE STALEY….well they constantly yap like a rabid chihuahua . Embarrassing

Yes,
Athletically talented Young men are lining up all around America, saying...... if I just change my whole identity, lose all my friends, subject myself to public ridicule, have to undergo all kinds of metabolic/hormonal changes to my body by taking drugs, spend 100s of thousands dollars
THEN I CAN DOMINATE ANY DIVISION III SPORT I CHOOSE. AND WHEN I DO I WILL GET NO ENDORSEMENTS, MEDIA WILL HOUND AND RIDICULE ME, POLITICIANS AND CHAT ROOM JUNKIES WILL TRY TO MAKE ME A SCAPEGOAT FOR ALL THE EVILS IN SOCIETY. I WILL HAVE GREAT DIFFICULTY GETTING A JOB, RIGHT WING PREACHERS WILL TALK ABOUT ME IN THEIR SERMONS AND SAY IM GOING TO HELL, MAYBE EVEN VIGILANTES WILL STALK AND CYBERSTALK ME WITH DEATH THREATS OR ASSAULT OR KILL ME.

Yeah, the line for that is four wide, out the door and around the corner in every city in America with teenage boys anxious to sign up

Why is it everything people disagree with is now a conspiracy theory? I have to assume you think the president's executive order, state and local govt. adoption, DOJ & DOE enforcement, NCAA endorsement and punishment, ACLU & HRC lawsuits are not real and are therefore conspiracy theory, correct?

Speaking of yapping chihuahua, I suggest READING the article before coming at her half cocked. She is not upset because she didn't win the award.

That would be too much to ask for him seeing as he has an obvious agenda that is apparent every time he posts. He doesn't let facts get in the way of that.

You are correct when you state those things but your panic that the sports world and society as a whole are coming to end over this is fear mongering in its basest form.

I have heard these BS fear mongering tactics over civil rights, equal pay and opportunity for women, marijuana and many other things over my lifetime.

Question for the groomers. Where do most of these transgender athletes come from. What part of the country?

Because this is a total non-issue that certain politicians are blowing completely out of proportion for their own political gain. Its not the first time its happened and it definitely won't be the last. Recognize it for what it is. Any lawsuit will effect an extremely small number of people. More than likely most are individual suits.

Sorry. used "conspiracy theory" for lack of a better, less harsh, term.

I went back and reread the whole thread. You and I agree on a lot. Clearly you love Gamecock WBB and Dawn. If you have season tickets I’ll meet and buy you a 9.50$ beer oh wait price gouging distraction.

I have gay family members and friends. Even have 2 transgender people who are more than acquantices sp? but not real close friends.

Their journey was traumatic on all levels. Both said it was more painful to stay where they were than to transition. It took me a while to process that...... it was easier for them to put up with all the $4it and abuse that they took from transitioning than to stay where they were. They view transitioning as an act/quest of personal integrity not some sexual escapade. Neither really are into sports but will hang out if invited.

My sense is that trans folk who play now loved sports all along. That the most important thing is to transition but then they went, well I still love sports.

I know I am fatally sarcastic and snarky,( a gift and a curse from God) sometimes it may
bite more than I intend. So I apologize. Also in my rereading no where was the phrase conspiracy theory used except by you. Trans is clearly an important issue to you I just see differently than you.

The above mention of conspiracy theory is what I was responding to so it didn't originate with me.

Yes, we do agree a lot and I enjoy the conversation. Thanks for making the effort to go back and read the entire thread. I am a big supporter of Dawn and the WBB team. I know this issue has not impacted the college game significantly yet but the impact at the lower levels is impacting our kids and grandkids and concerns me. I don't make it down often to see any games in person but if I do I would love to share one with you but it may be $12.50 by then. :)

I am the one who initially used the term "conspiracy theory." Mainly for lack of a better phrase to describe what the politicians are doing with respect to the issue. It was an improper use of the term.

Didn't know epsys were part of the USC AD. It's a fact everyone here is in full support of ray tanner.
"Not a Gamecock fan"? If you can't even be critical of your team you're bound for little success. 0-21 was fun for @atl-cock .
Criticizing your team is not the same as dissing a varsity sport you don't follow.

Criticize Frank Martin on who he did/did not play? Go right ahead, I will respect that, and likely agree with you.

An example of "not a Gamecock fan" is saying that nobody follows/cares about equestrian. A true Gamecock fan wants the team to compete well and represent USC well, whether or not they follow equestrian (and for the record, I don't follow equestrian).

The article only gives the college they attended. I am not going to research 32 athletes to find their hometown. If you know please share. By your tone it sounds like you might know. Or you are just trolling hoping they all come from a region you down upon
