The thinly-veiled excuse making is getting kinda' old.
The Cult of Harbaugh is real. Michigan is weird/corny as hell but they are ALL IN. I don’t know Harbaugh’s secret but his team will jump on a grenade for him.
My tipping point was Kentucky bowl game.
It made PSU money taking bank off the look at me crowd. Not looking like a great investment in fun.

Arkansas game was KY Bowl Part II. Painful.
I switched on Franklin after his stupid “elite” comments following another loss to tOSU.
But why criticize, other teams would love to have our record. Ask Georgia, LSU, Oklahoma, Florida, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Texas, or USC fans. On second thought don’t, they would tell you something you don’t want to hear.
Didn't do worse than #4 King today , whiffed on tackles , PI , bad gaps , not a good showing by him.
I was criticized for saying the fans would turn and lose interest.
I was criticized for saying I see this team heading in a direction that would cost support, ticket, and merchandise sales.
I stand by my statements.
Some reporters like to cover drama but she likes to provoke it. She belongs at Fox News or CNN. If I were petty James I'd make it very hard on her the rest of his time here. That's what Joe did. Eff her.
And we wonder why the media was quick to drag Joe through the mud…again, not smart.

That is what is not "good enough".
Losing to some really good teams - when you also beat some really good teams - is likely a lot more acceptable to most fans.
Playing a Dunkin'Donuts schedule, and being "dunked" (in very ugly fashion) by the two teams that can play big time football? Not so much.
Exactly. Thin skinned James has to be called out. He has to have his happy talk tossed back by hard questions. His failures have to be itemized and spoken about.
Then, if some program with more money than sense comes calling he will leave.

I wouldn’t trade Franklin for Ruhle, as I watched him try to coach at Carolina Panthers and fail miserably.
But, Franklin does make a lot of strange calls for my taste. When he went for two on the first touchdown, I thought it was foolish. The fourth down call with plenty of time on the clock and the D playing well was extremely foolish in my opinion. Going for two on the last TD basically ended the game.
But then, I guess there’s a reason he makes the big bucks, and I’m on Soc Security at home.
Maybe next year the blind squirrel will find that golden acorn.
P.S. Our QB also needs a little more polish before next year.
My main concern is that I’m running out of “next years”.

Will Franklin ever take some responsibility for a loss. Can't say I've ever seen that and sadly doubt I ever will.
Yeah fake Punt on your won 26, My tipping point was the very first loss to Maryland (handshake game) knew then Franklin could not coach his way out of a wet paper bag.
You have to play your best players vs OSU and UM, you can not tell me these guys can not play 40 or 50 snaps.

I recall a few injuries and opt outs after I bought tickets and airfare .
Ultimately poor in game decisions were the difference.
Can you provide a list of PSU opt outs? All I see is McSorley, Parsons, Miller, Freiermuth, Sanders, Hamler, Dotson, Thompkins, etc all played.
