To be honest, I dont think we have the money for a great portal haul, not the kind needed to turnaround in one year. Most likely only one side of the ball really gets the players. whole O line needs to be replaced. You could try to get a D line and some LBs but i can’t see them both getting addressed.

You need really good talent evaluators for that. Leach, Cig, Petrino all could do that. based on what we brought in this year I don’t think we are good at that.

Lot of misses in this years portal class. Especially on OL. And lot of not even caring about defensive recruiting.

Yep those misses increase the cost too because good portal evaluations ideally get a guy with two years left. The three O line starters Arkansas signed are soph, jr, jr. Get them back for chemistry.

I watched the Eastern Kentucky offensive line blow our defensive line off the ball time and time again. We ain't beating Missouri. I don't care if Lombardi was coaching us.

Leachs portal hit rate : Polk, Jaylon Green, Jackie Matthews, Randy Charlton, Banks, Lasoya, Mosely, JRob. just off the top of my head. his Hit rate had to be like 75% , you’re a dim bulb.

Compare that to Lebby this year, what did he bring that’s a good evaluation ? Like 3 out of 25 players ?
