I keep hoping that the reason that we can't have things like audible sound, chairbacks for our metal bleachers, or real time score updates is because of something like this, but somehow I doubt it

Why do they have Gingerbread Houses?
Video says it will be used for stuff year round, guessing a rendering of some kind of Christmas festival with the ice skating rink there, etc.
Pretty cool. Expensive cool but nice.

Me too brother. Based on the direction they went with the Hump though.......I don't think we have the private donor(s).

by the way.......I would like to see State do something big like Oregon State or Kansas is doing.

Northwestern.....$850million from the Ryan family
Kansas......total cost to renovate one side....$450 million.... private donations 250, State Grants 85, remainder debt.
Oregon St.... total cost $160 million........$100 million in private funds....bonds 35, debt for the remainder.
Vandy....total cost for latest project $300 million......private donations to Vandy United of $300
MIzzou.....total cost $250......private donations of $125 million is goal (only 90 raised so far). 125 debt.

It's even crazier that the stadium will only seat 35,000, they are going all in on suites and club seating, only 20,000 seats in the stands.

holy crap - a stadium for the 0.1% and the students.

They are straight up admitting that they want to sell the premium seats as they make the most money. The place will have the atmosphere of a Catholic church during mass.

And the way Northwestern typically plays football, the game attendees will be as quiet as the Catholic mass attendees, too*******
