I know, but many on here seem to think turnovers are gifts and have nothing to do with our defense.
PSU certainly got some good breaks in the first half. I'm pretty sure that a short punt targeted at the back of an Iowa blocker wasn't by design. Same with Saunders being able to get back on his fumble. But yes, the PSU defense was relentless.

Where’s the numerous objective critical soliloquies on the 12 incomplete passes and only 166 yards?
Unwillingness or inability to be critical of your team doesn’t make you a better fan. Just a more ignorant one.

Which, again, is fine. But it’s a lot like having sneering contempt for the doctor because he’s studied medicine and you haven’t.

True. But there are a number of negative Nancies that seem to always pick out something to overanalyze and drag everyone down without acknowledging the positives. It gets really, really old. I get what he’s saying.

It's not easy to be the one who is tasked with pointing out how the doer of deeds falls short again and again.
Fortunately, there are always those who are willing to "step up."

Being constantly critical is fine I suppose, but it’s a lot like interrupting your oncologist to complain about your chipped nail while they’re trying to tell you that your lab results are all clear.

Nitpicking doesn’t make you a better fan, it makes you a pompous a$$. No team plays a perfect game, so finding every little thing that went wrong in a win is stupid especially for a fan that has no influence on the team whatsoever.
