Are you kidding me?
It seems that there was a wall and a statue near Beaver stadium that honored PSU football. It was torn down in 2012 because the University decided that the sandusky problem was because of the cult worship of football....so said (paraphrasing our University president)
Only a cost accountant could figure out how much was spent in cost of materials, labor to build the original wall, then tear it down. And, lest we forget the $60million fine the University decided to pay anyway after the NCAA eliminated the sanctions against PSU.
So can we assume that since the University is sanctioning the legacy plaza, it's ok again to enjoy penn state football?
Don't get me wrong, I'm all for something that honors the sport that most of us enjoy. But, the people who made the decision to tear down the original "legacy" to PSU football should be invited to pay for this one.
