I think his point was that Franklin won 11 games with an inexperienced QB two times prior so the fact that Allar will be inexperienced may not matter.Translation: what in the heck are talking about?

Again, you have never spent a second coaching football… keep amusing us! I am not trying to deflect… you know dick about coaching a football team.Making things up and trying to deflect, sound argument. Look we are all happy the team won. But you saw the crowd attendance, Franklin even said it was an Utah home game. People want to compete, they want the football team to be the wrestling team. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. If people see hope in Allar for a chance at a really special season, who cares?
You're not exactly new here. By now you should know this IS our happy face.Wow....I see everyone on this thread is celebratory mood.
F us.You're not exactly new here. By now you should know this IS our happy face.
I will be in the corner of the player the coaches put on the field. I support the coaches and the team. You'd be hard pressed to see me ever single out a coach or a player for criticism. I may go as far as saying, "we might need help in the DL." After they graduate and move on its fair game to access their impact or contribution.Another guy who makes things up, deflects, and adds in name calling. You had a good run this year on the board. Everyone got your schtick and went along with it. I guess next year you will reverse yourself and become the guy booing Drew on here. Good times.
AbsurdNever ever wanted to tank the season. Just wanted the coach to find ways for Allar to play meaningful snaps. Now we are basically back to square one with a very inexperienced QB. Built in excuse for Franklin
Are you asking me what I’m talking about?Translation: what in the heck are talking about?
Utah to California distance vs. PA to California distance….hmmm, must be because PSU fans don’t care as much as Utah fans. Good lord.Making things up and trying to deflect, sound argument. I've been ashamed you were a PSU fan for longer than that, if it makes you feel any better.56 years I've been a PSU fan. When they booed Cliff it was the first time I was ashamed to be a PSU fan.
MoogyI've been ashamed you were a PSU fan for longer than that, if it makes you feel any better.
You have no clue if we would have had an 11 win season with Allar at the helm. That's the fatal flaw in your embarrassing chest-pumping "there's only one way to be a fan, and if you don't fan like I fan, I'll spend a lot of the precious time I have left on this planet attacking you" schtick which would make a 4th grader stop and tell you to grow up. We may have fewer wins. Or more. I make no apology for wanting Allar to be our starter early this season (but then saying Clifford should just continue on as the starter once the season wore on), despite holding absolutely nothing against Clifford, who has given us everything he had, and is much appreciated for that effort. And kudos to Sean for the great game tonight. Helluva way to go out. No kudos to you for choosing to act how you act, however. Unlike Sean, you give no effort. You are forever hopeless. Playing Allar would not have resulted in an 11 win season. The coach has an obligation to every player on the team to play to win. Any clown who thinks that Franklin should have put experience for Allar ahead of putting the best team on the field should be locked in a 6'by 6' room with PJ Mustipher and explain it to him.

He was literally booed in home games.Honestly, would you?
I know. Very sad.He was literally booed in home games.
there is stupid, and then there is idiotic- your post is idioticGood for Sean. I am sure 11 wins will get a bunch of 5 stars to come here next year (sarcasm). I think the attendance showed where most PSU fans are: third place sucks and I’m not going to pay for it.
No apologies, happy for him and team, but that has always been typical Clifford, look good one moment, look like an average or below averge QB the next. He is who we always thought he was. Great way to finish the season.can be posted here.
But you still had to get some final shots. Probably booed him too. Really sad.No apologies, happy for him and team, but that has always been typical Clifford, look good one moment, look like an average or below averge QB the next. He is who we always thought he was. Great way to finish the season.
Cliff's final ESPN QBR placed him at 24 of 100 college quarterbacks rated, Levis ranked 61. Now that might be below average. No apologies, happy for him and team, but that has always been typical Clifford, look good one moment, look like an average or below averge QB the next. He is who we always thought he was. Great way to finish the season.
Pretty much the same as almost every college QB almost every year…got it.No apologies, happy for him and team, but that has always been typical Clifford, look good one moment, look like an average or below averge QB the next. He is who we always thought he was. Great way to finish the season.
So you were not ashamed at the booing of John Shaffer?56 years I've been a PSU fan. When they booed Cliff it was the first time I was ashamed to be a PSU fan.
Yeah, he played his best game yesterday. He played very well. Most importantly, he avoided the brainfart throws that arguably were his trademark in the biggest games. He's obviously a smart guy and a leader; no doubt he will be successful in life.
Yeah as nobody else ever breaks in QB's at the college level. You won't find very many QB's who weren't starters that got more reps than Allar....great call there. Basically this was you looking for a reason to be mad at Franklin next year already.....LOL.Never ever wanted to tank the season. Just wanted the coach to find ways for Allar to play meaningful snaps. Now we are basically back to square one with a very inexperienced QB. Built in excuse for Franklin
Or Mills? Or Moxie? Or Bolden? Or ………..So you were not ashamed at the booing of John Shaffer?
Some parents, mainly bad ones, seem to love this 'reasoning'Then, of course, there is the pathetic “you’re not a coach so you can’t criticize any decision a coach makes” mantra that apparently only applies to football coaches, but not to presidents, senators, actors, writers, plumbers, CEOs, or any other profession.
Imagine......but WE DESERVE BETTER

If only Allar had gotten them allIf only Allar would have gotten a few more snaps.
Coaching is a tough job. Listening to "critics" is one of the few amusing things they have each day. Don't know for certain, but I'll bet surgeons have the same belly laughs. The truly sad thing is that certain people cannot enjoy, and let others enjoy, a resounding victory in the season’s final game. Instead, they (through some character flaw and bizarre compulsion) must start and perpetuate threads attacking others in an effort to show that the initiators/perpetuators are “better” or more knowledgeable fans.

It’s not that tough of a job if you have thick enough skin and don’t get offended at every opinion that differs with your own.Coaching is a tough job. Takes a Man to admit fault..very few do…I wanted Clifford back and haven’t ever said a player sucked etc…I have said he is slow or can’t cover etc. but Franklin and coaches I criticize they are men and they make money and they are supposed to work for us and their players …but you sir…Watching that horrific unfolding in the Bills game tonight puts everything into perspective. I’ve been critical of Clifford’s play in the past and I’m a little ashamed of that now to be honest after watching an athlete in a life and death struggle tonight. These kids are someone’s kid, brother, or friends. As I’ve gotten older, I constantly tell myself to not go so crazy watching my favorite teams and to simply enjoy it whether it be the Nits or the Phillies.
