Cliff, does and says all the right things. That's one of many reasons he should have everyone's respect.

I don't know booing type people ... or, at least, none that have ever booed anyone around me ... so I don't know what types of folks would actually boo. Trashy trailer park folks, maybe? Professional rasslin' fans? A lot of overlap in those demos, I'd guess. Dunno. So I guess since I can't say who would or would not boo, I'll walk back my previous statement and just say I think it's unlikely any would boo (and I believe any critics who commented on it have denied booing). I haven't seen too many (any?) rabid anti-Clifford folks like I see the Franklin haters like BW Lion around here (who I would guess would be more likely to boo).
Entitled, we deserve better fans are the ones who boo and there are a lot of those on this board. And anti-Franklin fans are the type that would boo and there are plenty of those on this board. So they may not have directly booed Clifford when he made a mistake, but they were booing Franklin or the play call. Unfortunately Clifford or the players would not know that.
Don’t try to rewrite history. They were booing Clifford. Shame on them. Paint a C on their forehead at all PSU games going forward.
I’ve sat in Beaver Stadium and heard some of our fans boo Army and Navy when they took the field, just because they were our opponent. Of course, we have clowns that will boo our players. And try to then cover themselves by saying I don’t boo the players, just the play calling or coaches. 
I’m not trying to rewrite history, I’m just answering the post about what type of fan would boo. I don’t boo, nor do I wear face paint, masks, jerseys, or anything else that looks foolish. I’ve outgrown all that.
Didn't say you were booing but there were many that were booing Clifford. Don't ever give them a pass.

Not yet. Clifford bashers were out in force for 13 games. They are due a beat down for a couple weeks.
In years past, on the old site, he would ignore my knowledge as a social worker to explain why it was alright for Sandusky to shower alone with boys in his role as a worker in an agency your at-risk youths. So you are right, he would not apply the same logic to other fields of endeavor.
Even worse than boo birds are those intent on making this into a "who's the better fan?" contest. Give it a rest. I'm guessing even those who booed Clifford are quite happy he performed as well as he did in the Rose Bowl.
Not a contest. If you booed Clifford or complained after every incomplete pass you’re not a good fan. It’s that simple.
Simply take your beating, and say thank you sir may I have another.
So it's a contest. Stop acting like an overly emotional pre-teen. And, no, I didn't boo Clifford. And, yes, I still wish Allar had started the year at starting QB. And, yes, I'm still quite happy for Clifford, with respect to that last performance of his collegiate career.

So I should blindly accept your "knowledge" of Sandusky's behavior out of respect for your experience as a social worker. It perturbed you that I might disagree with your opinion......but if I were to expect the same respect for my knowledge and experience as a football coach that certainly is unacceptable. Should I add your comment and apply it to your profession? Doesn't seem like a very tough job.
These loyal fans will out themselves......as they will be booing Allar next season unless he walks on water.
It never perturbs me when people disagree with my opinion. It never perturbs me when people outside of my field offer up opinions about things within my field. I don’t resort to mocking them or become condescending to them because I understand they have a different angle on things than I do. I am more than welcome to have people share those opinions with me. Sometimes I even learn something from somebody with a different point of view. For some reason you expect fans to not be fans and accept your experience as a football coach as the only voice of reason on any football related topic on here.
I don't expect that at all....if I disagree, I let it be known. If I feel its warranted I seek to refute their post. I don't carry resentment for months or years that fan x or y didn't accept my "knowledge" or experience in the field. I think we see who the one with thin skin is.
Yes. it Allar fails it will be because Franklin played Cliff this year.
If Allar wins the Heisman, Franklin will have cheated him out of the award in 2022.
