He is in the same conversation. His first step will make ESPN.com freeze up instantaneously
edit to add…I was grateful enough to watch Chris at Gulfport and remember…I need Shane to pump the brakes, slightly, with all do respect.
No worries, I think we grew out of that canceling-over-stupid-stuff phase a couple weeks ago**Are we allowed to call him Chris Jackson because we are talking about him before he converted to Islam? I don't know the rules on this stuff. I just don't want anyone to get canceled, or whatever
Super D!!He's much more like Darryl Wilson to me than Chris Jackson.
Woah there, Q was kinda great on the court and kinda beloved by the fans.I think he’s already our most beloved men’s basketball player of the last 15 years. Gotta go back to Gordon or Varnado for anyone close to as popular. And he very likely ends up surpassing those guys by the time he’s done.
Q was great but our fans did not support the men’s program at all when he was here.Woah there, Q was kinda great on the court and kinda beloved by the fans.
...and kinda is an understatement.
That's pretty high praise. He was the best college player I've ever seen
Q was wildly popular and the program was absolutely supported by fans. Avg attendance was 7954 in 18-19, Q's last season. Thats higher than Varnado's last year when they went to the NCAA Tournament.Q was great but our fans did not support the men’s program at all when he was here.
I would argue Hubbard is already more popular than Q ever was, but that’s just my sense on the matter. Not a perfect way to gauge that. Not a knock on Q at all. I just think interest in the program is much higher now than it was 5-6 years ago, when our men’s team wasn’t even the most popular basketball team on campus.Q was wildly popular and the program was absolutely supported by fans. Avg attendance was 7954 in 18-19, Q's last season. Thats higher than Varnado's last year when they went to the NCAA Tournament.
That avg attendance is also lower than last season and lower than some other seasons back in the '00s.
But average attendance doesnt mean a player was beloved or not beloved. Thats a bad metric to use. Q was beloved- simple as that. The dude was homegrown, played hard all the time, stayed out of known drama, and was successful. He was beloved, regardless of attendance.
