REALLY great way to explain the cap stuff. Just when I get pissed at howie for his drafting nonsense, he says something like this and makes me think he’s actually pretty dang smart.

certainly a positive, even if for only one game. I would prefer that they revert to them permanently, but that doesn't seem to be something they would consider.
Howie is a really bright guy. He’s just way better at the business side of things than the personnel aspect.
I think Lurie had it more right than wrong when he moved Howie to team financial operations. He just backed the wrong horse in Chip Kelly.
The model worked well overall with Joe Banner as Finance guy and Andy Reid for personnel decisions. Chip just couldn’t hold up his end and was a jerk.
And jersey sales will jump too. We fans will line up for them.
lol, I'm a huge fan, but I have held off all these years on purchasing a jersey. But I could see myself splurging for a kelly green jersey.

I think any sane eagles fan will say exactly what Irsay said. However it’s refreshing to finally hear someone from the “inside” say what we’ve all known for a while. Wentz is stubborn, won’t adapt his game and let’s mistakes affect him for too long.
This statement is damning and makes me feel no sympathy for Wentz. His issues seem to go beyond spotty play.
“In having conversations with trusted veterans on the team, when you speak to them in confidence, oftentimes they share really, what’s happening,” Irsay said. “What I found out was very concerning.
Maybe the Eagles tried too hard to keep him and help him grow but then finally realized it wasn't working. I am thinking this is what fueled Pederson's departure and the reason Foles wanted out when that contract thingy came up.
Can't blame them for doing all they could to make it work after trading up for him. My impression was that Pederson wanted to move away from him though. Maybe that is what you are saying? Ultimately the Press Taylor thing seemed to be what got him fired.
I think Doug got some of the same “big ego” syndrome that Howie, Lurie and other got after the Super Bowl win.
That combo - Lurie and Howie wanted a say on the staff…Doug wanted autonomy - seems to have been the biggest factor. They all over valued their contributions and didn’t want to budge, when it was a combo of factors and maybe more luck than anything.
Thks I m old school the Gm or owner picking the staff doesn’t cut it w me. Doug picks his staff and lets the chips fall

This is a big deal, in my opinion, and I really welcome this change. It will be interesting to see if they throw a requirement for a two-point conversion somewhere in the mix.

I'd take those 3. That said I am partial to the defenders from UGA. I'd love to have the fat kid, and #44, I doubt they will be around.
No way. DK is a great player…when he’s present and invested. He can outright disappear for long stretches.
