Worst decision since hiring Joe Kuharich, or brilliant foresight?

The mocks have them going DL CB and S. I’m also seeing this cat, 2’s and my fav playoff player

Acquiring additional 2023 draft capital (i.e. 1st rounder) is really important. I don't know what the QB class looks like, but if you need to draft Hurts replacement, you need that capital to move up.
Hmmm idk. They need players. I don’t think Hurts is the long term answer, I think he can get them above 500. But they need more players so trading picks now for something in the future doesn’t help them now. But if you have a lifetime contract like Howie I guess it doesn’t matter

now the next question is what do you do with big Ike? (73) I dont know how much he costs, but he is clearly replaceable, maybe you use him for trade bait.

When no market for a trade materializes, you cut him and hope to bring him back at a lower number for depth. I think both moves allow them to keep Lane for a few years longer and maximize what he has left at RT.

Reuben never misses the opportunity to write positives about Miles. Admittedly, all true. I probably resign him, too. But depends on the number. His injury history is of concern and you don't over-pay ($ and years) in the RB position. Gainwell needs more time, too.

Am I the only one who sees this as Denver going all in for Rodgers?
Elway has shown he'll sign veteran QBs who still have a few good miles left on them. It worked out alright with Peyton Manning.

But back to the Eagles........

Interesting read but in his #6 he feels Nick Foles is a HOF lock. Say what? He will always be THE MAN to Eagles fans but I don't know that his career numbers are HOF worthy. If being the QB of a Super Bowl winning team makes someone a HOF lock then they should start making busts of Jim Plunkett, Joe Theismann, Jim McMahon, Phil Simms, Doug Williams, Jeff Hostetler, Mark Rypien, Trent Dilfer, and Brad Johnson. Some of those guys were league MVPs and still aren't enshrined.

Read it again...he’s writing about the Eagles HOF, not the NFL HOF.

Interesting. Most of the press that had offered opinions didn't think he'd be back.
