Carmichael holds 6,900 and the closest they came to a sellout last season was vs NCSU, 6,300. I’m intrigued as to how much garnet will be in the standsSouth Carolina always gets a sellout . I remember last year when we played at . Stanford (7000 seats) and the announcer said "first sellout in 5 years " WTF...talented team every year and you can't sell out every home game in 7k seat gym. unc will be a sell out also
Need to have a lot of buses from Columbia. That would help as unc is a hard drive, even from Charlotte.Carmichael holds 6,900 and the closest they came to a sellout last season was vs NCSU, 6,300. I’m intrigued as to how much garnet will be in the stands
I believe Chris works at WIS TV and this is not a full time gig here. He has connections and access to the WBB program. I always appreciate his knowledge and insight. I look forward to the day Gamecock WBB warrants and pays a full time beat writer. Is WBB all that Chris Does ? Does he have other responsibilities with GC ? I am grateful for any info on our WBB program . But if we are being honest ,I learn more from the other members here than I do from Chris. The other staff members pump out FB ,BB info every day...during season and out . Maybe Wellbaum has a lot more on his plate than WBB and it's the best he can do. I was just wondering.
I'm comfortable in saying it held more than that in the pre-Dean Smith Center days, something like 8,800. Evidently they have downsized it since the days when men also played there.Carmichael holds 6,900 and the closest they came to a sellout last season was vs NCSU, 6,300. This is espn's look at the polls which is often slanted by some traditional programs they favor. I expect the AP and Coaches poll to take into acoount what Kamilla, Chloe and Raven did this summer with USA Bball and I would expect South Carolina to few a few spots better to start the actual polls. Here is the latest edition of top 25. We stay at #8. Five SEC teams, four in the top 12. The league is on an upswing for now. We have 10 games scheduled against the top 25

LSU, UConn, UCLA headline women's basketball Way-Too-Early Top 25
With plenty of player movement and top stars back, the women's college basketball race is wide open. But everyone starts out looking up at LSU.www.espn.com
I'm talking about it being a sellout with majority Gamecock fans...South Carolina always gets a sellout . I remember last year when we played at . Stanford (7000 seats) and the announcer said "first sellout in 5 years " WTF...talented team every year and you can't sell out every home game in 7k seat gym. unc will be a sell out also
AND WOE TO THE PLAYER THAT TRIES TO UNDERCUT HER.....Ashlyn is no body to mess withI hope Watkins get a chance to DUNK the basketball... when we play the Tarheels...
Interview with Raven. She gets asked about the Iowa game near the end. What an emotionally mature, strong and classy response
BOO HISS! I agree with you on this. UCONN has gotten a commitment from another overseas post player and has apparently moved on.Kate Koval will be announcing her commitment on Wednesday so looking likely that it is LSU as an insider had already reported a commitment was coming soon.
That's what annoyed me the most from people trying to discredit Raven this off-season. She actually shot well from the 3 that game and she has previously stated she didn't even see the hand motion in the game. I wish she had seen the gesture, because I'm sure Raven would have really took it at her.My favorite thing about all this is that nobody in the media seemed to acknowledge the facts that 1. Raven shot 50% from three point range on 6 shots and 2. Clark shot 29% from three on 17 shots. Not saying Raven is the better shooter, but if I'm not mistaken, all of her makes came after Clark waved her off which suggests a ton of composure and maturity for a RS freshman playing in her first final 4. She has nothing to be embarrassed about despite what the big media and folks who didn't even watch the game have to say.
Interestingly enough, I lurk on the Tiger Droppings board, and in their women's basketball recruiting thread, a poster there is convinced she's going to Notre Dame. But I guess we'll know for sure on Wednesday!Kate Koval will be announcing her commitment on Wednesday so looking likely that it is LSU as an insider had already reported a commitment was coming soon.
The beat writer had good things to say about ADR from their first practice but I do not think she will play extended minutes this season with the SEC's pace of play.BOO HISS! I agree with you on this. UCONN has gotten a commitment from another overseas post player and has apparently moved on.
Maybe I’m just wishful thinking, but I don’t see Koval and Del Rosario coexisting more than one year. The portal giveth but it also taketh, and LSU has reached the point that all that talent is difficult to manage.
Something is up with Del Rosario. She was the only true post on the U19 national team and left the team. No explanation given. There have already been several expressions of disappointment in her conditioning coming out of camp. From multiple sources I might add. Coates and Wilson, Boston and Cardoso coexisting are unicorn events in college WBB.
I am now thinking that as well. Just went back on LSU On3 and they said things have changed and she istrending towards Notre Dame after her in home with them. Supposedly LSU has canceled their in home visit that was supposed to happen today.Interestingly enough, I lurk on the Tiger Droppings board, and in their women's basketball recruiting thread, a poster there is convinced she's going to Notre Dame. LSU is a finalist for Me’Arah O’Neal, Shaq’s daughter. She has been very underneath this thread’s radar as no mutual interest with Gamecocks. She is a 6’3” who is ranked #32 on HoopGurlz. One spot ahead of Adhel TacThe beat writer had good things to say about ADR from their first practice but I do not think she will play extended minutes this season with the SEC's pace of play.

I am still hoping that is the commitment they thought they would get bc if they are still confident in a commitment it would mean either Strong or Edwards as Cambridge isn't slated to visit until right before signing day.
I do think they thought they were getting Koval though.
If she was given the week off, it would make sense that you wouldn't see her yet.Still no jah I'm concerned
Wonder who it could be?
