I don't care about any other team except Florida right now. They beat Michigan, on the road, recently and the Wolverines beat Ohio State yesterday. So the Gators have the potential to play well. I haven't seen enough of them playing to give an assessment. Hoping to watch some of their previous games this week.

Edit to add: apparently the Florida/Michigan game was played in Charlotte
Totally agree. So many games to play. One thing we have witnessed is every team gives us their best shot. Teams that might draw several hundred to a 1000, sell out for our game. Best to stay in the moment. Some key injuries or an off game can change everything.

Sakima Walker has already stated she is coming back for next year. In fact she said that when she signed with us. Feagin will also be back. Only Cardoso graduates this year

Earlier this recruiting cycle you were absolutely obsessed with Arianna Roberson coming here. She had no interest in us, had no connection to us and had never visited here. It was less than a month before Signing Day and we just had to start recruiting her.

You seem equally obsessed with Strong who for months has shown no interest in us. I am sure DS is recruiting her, she hasn’t signed so why not pursue her. It is clear she is looking elsewhere. Strong would be a must get for every program in the country, but we are a team that will excel whether she comes here or not. We are stacked at her position and once again she has showed no interest in us in months.

Just because you love a player’s game doesn’t mean they share your passion for us.
No not obsessed with Strong. It was reported in the STATE that we are still after Strong and Edwards is still trying to get her to come here. You seem to be obsessed with me. Quit worrying about what I'm posting cause I'm certainly not watching what you're posting.

Well get your facts straight on who is coming back when you present a case for recruiting a player. Especially a player that has shown no interest and that we have already got 4 players on the roster for next season that play her position

Only 3 games left…

per Massey, only 3 games for USC WBB in regular season where we don’t have over a 90% chance of winning:
At LSU (74%)
Home UConn (78%)
At Tennessee (83%)

observation and a question:

- SC has played 12 games in the non-con: 6 at home & 6 on the road/neutral. After Thursday, it will be 6 & 7 home/road split. I can’t think of another top team with that type of game split to start a season. Kudos to DS for challenging the team to get them ‘road ready’ & the players for rising to the challenge.

- Who here thought this team would be 12-0 heading into conference? I figured 11-1 at best & 10-2 worst .

I too was thinking 10-2 or 11-1.
As to a team that played a tougher schedule and mainly on the road….. 3 neutral site games and 10 road games including

@Utah
@ LSU
@ South Carolina
@ Ole Miss
@ Miss St
@ Texas A&M
@ Alabama

meet 1-12 Mississippi Valley State

Well......since you asked, I actually did. Some of my previous posts support that assertion. After the Rutgers game I was totally convinced. Massey had this team ranked as the 24th best team that has ever played women's basketball since 1945 and this is before they ever set foot on a court! Let that sink in for a minute. Yes.....they are elite!

This is from Massey:

There was to be no facts. It was reported in the State Newspaper and Joyce said she is still recruiting Strong for Carolina.

You and Dark Cock need to chill.

Go Watch Catlin Clark a bit and relax!!!

Catlin Clark #1 basketball player in America. 3 time Dawn Staley award winner, soon to be 4th. Catlin will go down as the greatest ever to play that position!!!

That's the reason she recruited Chloe, trying to get away from what has been said and known for a long time.

Not to mention an incredibly hard worker who lives and breathes basketball.
More proof she isn't just the token white girl is jumping Feagin in the rotation. Dawn puts a lot of emphasis on senority, and Sania has patiently waited her turn, so coach wouldn't make that move unless she was convinced Kitts makes the team better.

Why would you post such garbage on another team's board? Really have to question whether you are fan or troll. Leaning toward the latter.
A quote from TN: "I wonder if Chloe will ever get to be a star at Carolina or will she be relegated to a few mins here and there. (Can't have a white girl shine)."

He is clearly a racist at the very least....

It’s interesting how relationships shape rosters.
Fulwiley ➡️ Kitts ➡️ Edwards

Kitts and Fulwiley became friends on the AAU Circuit. Kitts committed to L’ville and pretty much hounded Fulwiley into taking an OV to L’ville the same weekend she was visiting. Wanted to have Fulwiley play at L’ville. Monday after the visit Kitts decommitted from L’ville and shortly afterwards became a Gamecock.

This past summer Kitts makes the U-19 team along with Edwards. They become best buds on the team and the team stars along with Hannah Hidalgo. Kitts was instrumental in firming up the process for Edwards.

But wait it goes back even further. ALWAYS be kind to 8 year old girls at basketball clinics.

Look no further than how our players mesh and embrace each other. There's an outside faction that want to bring their own baggage and create a division that doesn't exist. I love this team and their chemistry.

And Feagin responded in ECU game. She played with a defensive intensity that has not really been seen previously.

And by the way please delete any receipts you are holding on me. I apologize and take it all back.🤣🤣

Reasons I love Chloe Kitts
1. How she committed to USC by just showing up at the coach’s office saying “Just thought I’d drop by and commit!” She has a sense of humor.
2. She’s brave. She came in early to a #1 team and went to work.
3. She is determined and dedicated. She saw her weaknesses and got her skinny self into the weight room and put on some muscle. She made the U-19 national team. Started every game and tied for leading scorer and was leading rebounder.
4. She is a good teammate and builder of relationships.
5. She has got some dawg in her on the boards and in taking it to hoop.
6. She is smart.
7. She is humble. When asked about starting over Watkins she said, “it makes me work harder every day, because I see Ash working really hard every day and she is coming for my spot.”

“Judge a woman not by the color of her skin, but by the content of her character.”

FLORIDA on Thursday night

We have a 15 game winning streak against the Gators. The last time they won was the 2010-11 season. Their largest attended home game was 1,500 vs rival FSU. Will a big crowd geek them up or psych them out? They generally have been a team we play in Feb., but I digress.

Uptempo offensive team, but as you would suspect they give up a lot of points. Have a solid 7 player rotation but it gets iffy after that. Decent size with Kyle and Dut but considering their SOS not a particularly good rebounding team. Good but not great 3 pt shooting team. They do shoot 20 per game(stop me if you have heard this) “We need to run them off the line and force them to beat us with 2s.”

Matharu is our #1 defensive priority. She has great speed and change of pace that gets her to the basket. Kyle has been an effective low post scorer against smaller opponents but not nearly so against equal matchups. Correa is the third scorer and I expect Breezy to guard her and shut her down. Reynolds and Rimdal round out the scoring threats. Reynolds is more dangerous as she can get her own shot. Rimdal cannot really create but you better not fall asleep on her from 3 pt land

Sakima Walker is a senior. We need all our players during tournaments. What does she need to improve?

She rebounds at a significantly lower rate than our other post players. That's the only concern I have. We need her to hold her own on the boards in case our other bigs get in foul trouble against a good rebounding team like LSU.

hope these tidbits are of interest

Combined stat line for Kitts and Watkins at the 4
37 minutes played
20 ppg
14 rpg
3 assists
3.5 blocked shots

Combined 3 pt shooting for TeHina, Breezy, Raven and Tessa
70-148 .472%

Add on Fulwiley and it is still excellent
84-192 .438%

the rest of the team is 2-15

Here is some more on our 3 point shooting

3rd in the nation in % 41.55
247th in 3 pointers attempted AND YET
115th in 3 pointers made

It clearly is part of our offense and we can kill you with it, but it ain’t THE offense

One of the guys at my gym is a Vandy grad and he is already jabbing me about Vandy getting votes. I remember when Vandy used to be pretty good in women's basketball. They are now better than UT.

Will be interesting once we get in conference play to see how the lady commodores fair.
