I envision “Gene” running into her in Omaha. Maybe the cabby that found Saul is a PD or a skip tracer hired by Kim.
The next clients to walk through the door will be? Hmmmmm. Cliffhanger. Segway into bb. Thought the whole lalo shooting would get to Kim. That whole wife crying was ridiculous. She was a cold bitc& to Howard.
IMDB has Cranston and Paul as actors for the next episode. Perhaps they will be in a scene with a HS field trip as Walter had Jesse in one of his classes and it may be a little early for their cooking escapades. The next clients to walk through the door will be? Gus?Pain? This is the guy that drank poison tequila to bump off the entire cartel. A little gunshot wound is nothing to this psychopath.I don't think Don Eladio believed Gus. As long as Gus produces, and he does, then being able to point to all the "evidence" was good enough for him. I am a little surprised though that Gus' wound didn't elicit more scrutiny. Maybe he was on pain killers, but he has a wound that requires a bandage and presumably antibiotics, and it's located where he got patted down. Even several weeks after the events of last episode, I don't think he'd be close enough to fully healed.
Wine drinking - it was a little odd to see Gus act so social with the manager. Just out of character, even though he was clearly feeling completely relieved.
Mike - devasted at being called a cartel member by Nacho's dad. I'm still confused why the Salamancas never went after him, especially since they don't believe Nacho.
It’s going to be a re-do of Saul’s first appearance in Breaking Bad, Badger’s case. Here’s how I know: when he met Badger in the lockup, in Breaking Bad, what did Saul mistakenly think Badger was being charged with?IMDB has Cranston and Paul as actors for the next episode. Public masturbation. So how does that translate into Saul’s first appearance in BB?It’s going to be a re-do of Saul’s first appearance in Breaking Bad, Badger’s case. Here’s how I know: when he met Badger in the lockup, in Breaking Bad, what did Saul mistakenly think Badger was being charged with?
When Saul was getting dressed in the finale of last night’s episode, he was on the phone with Francesca: “My first case today is another public masturbator?”Public masturbation. So how does that translate into Saul’s first appearance in BB?
Wow, the interweaving of the little details in this show is unreal. Terrific writing! When Saul was getting dressed in the finale of last night’s episode, he was on the phone with Francesca: “My first case today is another public masturbator?”
Must be a thing nowWhen Saul was getting dressed in the finale of last night’s episode, he was on the phone with Francesca: “My first case today is another public masturbator?”
Well, not really. Badger was busted for dealing meth, not for jacking off at the bus stop, so no worries.Must be a thing now
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this does not foreshadow the entrance of Walt, Jesse, & Badger. The inspection sticker on Saul’s car when he pulls into the handicap space is 2005. BB timeline doesn’t begin until 2008. Jesse has graduated. Just a co-incidence that there is another public masturbator. So, Kim leaves Jimmy in 2004 and the “time jump” to full Saul is approximately one year. He is also taking Xanax for anxiety from his call with Francesca while showering. There is the bus crash, however, and Saul is angling for a class action lawsuit and wants the camerA guy there to film a possible new ad.When Saul was getting dressed in the finale of last night’s episode, he was on the phone with Francesca: “My first case today is another public masturbator?”
He isn't in the game for one and two you can hit him but it doesn't help you any because Nacho is dead.. It would be a Salamanca thing to do but there is nothing to be gained and they are focused on Fring.Mike - devasted at being called a cartel member by Nacho's dad. I've seen a picture of Saul, Mike, Walt, and Jesse together in Saul's car.Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this does not foreshadow the entrance of Walt, Jesse, & Badger. Perhaps Jesse was on the bus? Was it a school bus? Walt had Jesse in class, was it a field trip? We shall see

I don’t believe that is from the next episode. I’m sticking with my bus crash theory.Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul's 'Better Call Saul' cameos were 'supposed to be a big surprise'

By the lack of aging in their faces, it would seem that this is a shot from Breaking Bad. But when were the four of them ever together in Breaking Bad?I don’t believe that is from the next episode. I’m sticking with my bus crash theory.
And before you see it, Gould wants you to keep in mind that it was designed to fit the saga of Better Call Saul — not Breaking Bad. "It's very much about the story that we've got and it's very much in keeping with the style of this particular show and the way we present things," says Gould, who created Saul with Breaking Bad overlord Vince Gilligan. "I'm very excited and they, of course, are fantastic."By the lack of aging in their faces, it would seem that this is a shot from Breaking Bad. Edit: The photo credit says it’s from Breaking Bad.
“Pretend” is the operative word. Good that you brought up the “go easy,” which takes on a heightened melancholy meaning after Nacho’s father tells off Mike. How many truly noble characters are there in the BB-BCS canon? Shout out to Juan Carlos Cantù, who portrayed Mr. Vargas.Just caught the last two episodes last night. One very little throwaway thing stuck out to me: Mike removes Howard’s shoes, wallet, ring, and then directs the guys to toss his body into the hole with Lalo, to be immediately covered in dirt, but he says “easy” in a scolding way when they go to pick him up. Kind of summed up the whole dichotomy of the characters in the show who try to pretend they’re principled and decent while doing horrendous things.

You can’t walk back the 2005 inspection sticker; there is zero chance this was a mistake. We’ll see how it plays out.Nice catch on the inspection sticker. I was wondering about that time jump because Saul had a really big comb over going on, and losing that much hair usually requires a fair amount of time. Has he been wearing a toupee the whole time? No way that comb over covers that much.
+1. I wasnt as impressed with this last episode as others seem to be.Well, guess I was wrong re Kim.
Too bad because that's now two classic characters in a row with disappointing exits. Sorry, but I thought that was another strike out. They set us up in past seasons thinking kim was going to leave Jimmy only to shock us (i.e. "let's get married"). My expectations were way higher for her send off. And the episode was half over before anything interesting happened. I hope the last four episodes pick up.
But yes, I agree that Kim meets the Omaha timberline in the end.

Also to Reed Diamond, who played David the wine bar waiter. Perfectly played.
I liked the scene because we saw Gus unwind for five minutes and then go back to being Gus Fring, Drug Lord. David the sommelier is taking about how difficult it is to make that particular wine, how much trouble it is, but they do the work because they insist on excellence. After that conversation, Gus can’t stay because he’s obsessed with his unfinished meth lab. I just happened to recently rewatch the episode of BB where Walt first steps into the lab and it’s as if Dorothy Gale had first arrived in Oz. Lalo’s gone (hence the opened curtains and the excursion to the wine bar), but work remains to be done.I didn't get the need for the wine, Gus opening the windows and staying in his home already conveyed to me he was in the clear. Just seemed a redundant, unless there is some meaning that I missed. The exposition in the storytelling from David seemed out of place given how tight dialogue is - it reminded me of the kind of stuff from a Kevin Smith movie.
I'm still wondering why the Salamancas didn't pick up Nacho's dad when they were first looking for Nacho - use him as a hostage, see what he knows, etc. Even know, he may know something, even in an offhand kind of way.
Back to Don Eladio "believing" Gus over Hector, the more I think about it, the more I think the assassination went down with Don's approval. Hector was an original cartel member, but he's just about out of the game, but maybe Lalo was a little too unpredictable for Don's tastes.
Hector - why is he in a no security long term care facility? He can clearly function just fine outside of it, and hiring good home care isn't a problem for them. I find that odd.
+1. I wasnt as impressed with this last episode as others seem to be.
Was this also the episode they were filming when BoB O. Had his heart attack?
And hence my disappointment. Part of what makes the writing great is they take you places you didn't expect. It was the obvious plot move and that was not what I wanted for arguably the most enigmatic character in the show. Her quitting the Bar aside, I think that this was the only way for Kim to move forward.
I got a different impression. I thought Gus was attracted to him and then realized he could never have a relationship with him (considering how his ex went out). After that conversation, Gus can’t stay because he’s obsessed with his unfinished meth lab. I
