This is actually a strong, measured take. But I wonder if you feel the same way about illegal immigration? Because while my child hasn't been murdered by an illegal immigrant, there are quite a few parents who have experienced that nightmare. And while it might not happen very often, happening once is too many times. I do believe there are folks who are kept up at night wondering about the security of our nation under the current administration's border policy.
My words you quoted include immigration in the high priority list. I'll assume you missed it. I tend to get wordy. Brevity isn't my strong suit.

You let me know when that's a risk for your or my daughter and we can have a beer and talk about how to fix it. I don't see this becoming more than a clickbait issue that doesn't impact 99% of our lives and Washington should stay out of it. Yes, it happens. Do I like it? No. It's stupid. Boys that want to play in the girls league is destructive. Do I want my federal politicians making it a core aspect of their positioning - either way. Also no. Fix the economy.
It’s affecting our daughters as we speak when mentall ill boys are posing as girls and taking their federal dollars in scholarships. This is a slap in the face of Title IX. It strikes me as odd when the loudest people “for women’s rights” have no problem with sickos taking away opportunities from the women they claim to support.

And having taken the stance that you have, I’m guessing that you don’t actually support Title IX since you don’t want the feds getting into such things.

You are right it's hypocrisy and counterintuitive. The spirit of it is lost.
