Doesn’t matter. Safety takes it to 2 scores and PSU gets the ball back.
Good banter today.

This isn't a good team. I would characterize PSU as being nothing other than an assemblage of undercoached and self-entitled individuals.

I'm usually okay with the "Just Win Baby!" mentality, but that one didn't taste good. Two completely blown coverages and giving up the drive for IU's third touchdown were all hard to watch. At least, Allar came back after the INT and boom, bang, boom TD. I know that it's Maryland, Maryland, Maryland week, but all I can think is that PSU is going to be a deserved and decided underdog against the lyin', cheatin', sacks of scUM.

I was almost on the verge of having a post-IU breakdown.

So, what offense do you run when the Indiana’s of the world load the box and blitz knowing our OL can’t block long enough to time to get a pass off?

You’ve proven beyond any doubt you’re an imbecile.
Funny coming from the guy who didn’t catch the ignorant sarcasm from another ‘fan’ who agrees with your pathetic ‘support’ of the program. Go back under your rock

It's both. I'm loathe to blame a young QB if his line doesn't give him time to throw. But Drew looked fine in mop-up duty all last year and this is virtually the same line. He needs to just sling it. In some ways, it's like the teen who's afraid to ask a girl out because he's afraid of rejection but then when he finally just does it and it goes well, he can be more comfortable. Just get that first INT out of the way, Drew, and then you can forget about it.
Not exactly what I had in mind but he did come back stronger.

4 TE's that initially show run blocking and then release for 3-5 yds. Rinse and repeat until the opposing safeties start to collapse towards the line .

It was ugly. Their lame offensive scheme got totally blown up last week, and after a week of talking, they proved today that they learned absolutely nothing. Came right back out and ran the same, incredibly weak, conservative offense.

3 yard rushing average against the dead-last ranked rushing defense.

This team has zero (ZERO!) chance against Michigan if they play like this.

I like that it’s not just me that gets it. Some of these people in here— you flee into the locker room with a 9-point win over Indiana and these clowns are sitting here chanting, “aS lOnG aS wE WiN, tAhT’s aLL tAht mAtTeRs!”

What a dumb team, complete with selfish undisciplined players.

Old Penn State football taught the art of just falling on and corralling a loose football.
I agree. A defensive lineman with zero ball skills has to be coached to just fall on the ball.

So W-L record doesn’t matter huh? 15 wins by 1 point probably makes a team National Champions. But I guess not for some of you. Your ‘standards’ matter more than the W-L record. Got it.

what did the RBs avg per carry. that is what we need to look at to evaluate running. Drew had a lot of negative yardage in sacks.

also why did they call the safegy a turnover? we never got the ball, so how can that be a turnover.

Well when a 3rd down was needed to run out the clock they put their running QB in.
I have nothing against Allar, he has tons of potential, but mixing in some playing time for Beau may actually take some of the pressure off Allar.

The we deserve better crowd has zero credibility at this point. They spent the first 5 weeks of the season pointing at the scoreboard, telling anybody who might point out that the offense was struggling didn't know what they were talking about, and reminding everyone what superfans they are.

Bubble screens, slants, TE seams, RB screens, RBs into the flat. We have an above-average-ish offensive line, and there are options.

I wasn't around at the start of the game, and thought the inconsistent play of PSU might be related to the performance of the drum major at the start of the game. It appears there was no connection between the two, as the drum major did their part.
