At this point, most all realistic scenarios are pointing to the Texas / Texas A&M winner playing Bama in Atlanta.

SEC’s best (maybe only) shot at 5 CFP teams is Texas beating A&M, then losing to Bama in Atlanta.

You’d have:

11-2 Bama (autobid)
11-2 Texas (definitely in)
10-2 UGA (definitely in)
10-2 Tennessee
10-2 Ole Miss

OM vs. Tennessee might be argued for who has the most merit….certainly couldn’t argue with the Top 3. Its a mess there….OM skulldrug both of the teams that beat Tennessee. Tennessee beat UK by 10, didn’t play LSU. They actually have 6 common opponents, OM would be 5-1 and Tennessee would be 4-2. OM also has the overall SOS advantage currently.
