Hey Franklin haters, is a playoff game a big game? Win or go home. Elimination. Season ends.

How am I not all in, heading to a Philly bar with 20 staters in an hour. How are you spinning me? Do we beat O or OSU today? Answer the question yo
We’re not playing O or OSU, so what difference does it make? Why bother even watching if you’re so down on the coach? Seems like a waste of time to me.

Doing the same thing over and over (ie 4-17) and expecting a diff result (ie a natty) is insanity. There are TONS of young super smart O geniuses toiling in anonymity, we should go find one. I’m fine if you disagree, playing it a safe works for some guys, I get it.
You live in an absolute fantasy world. There is no job opening currently. The HC isn't getting fired and is under contract. So why don't you in your make pretend world hire your make pretend O genius and play with him in your shower or something? You don't want realistic conversations because you are not mentally mature enough to handle them I guess. Other programs > PSU...in support and $$$'s. We know this, your posting Go blue hens hasn't moved that needle.

You don't even realize the numbers you post are more the norm for most coaches and programs then the exception. It's like you don't want to deal with the reality this current HC has you thinking MNC or bust....but you want to act as if that is a bad thing. He has you thinking that when PSU hasn't had a top 5 class in ages.

You'll also be the loudest kook around if Boise pulls off the W...even though you have PSU winning by 20+ points....so again you would be talking out of both sides of your mouth. These games don't count unless it's a loss or it's a top 5 school....go blue hens.

if seeded today vs O or OSU, do we advance today? (history says big game Jim can’t)
Here's a question. If there's TONS of genius coaches "tioling in anonymity", why don't other teams just go and get one? Like, tOSU is ready to fire Day once he loses in these playoffs. Let's see if they go and get the OC from San Diego State to replace him. GTFOOH with that nonsense.

Agreed…win 2 more games and then it will be a “run”

lose this week as an 11.5 point favorite on a neutral field? A major flop.
No, getting into the playoffs is making a run. Last year getting in to the top four was making a run. Years ago, getting in to the top two or in to the BCS game was making a run. By your definition, Joe didn’t make a run every three or four years….he didn’t make a run in 68, 69, 73, or 94.

I’d hire Day before he packed his cardboard box

Roar, Lions, Roar!

The team, not the several argumentative numbnuts on this thread
I’m asking myself why I’m bothering to do this kind of inane posting. My best excuse: tonight is a big game and my ******* is clenched tighter than Eisenhower’s was at Normandy. (Eisenhower’s side won, remember. No disrespect to the General.)

Safe is comfy. Safe is good. Risk is bad. Risk is scary. Tools will always fill the stadium to see state beat blue hens 50-0 (for the life of me I’ll never know why)

Reality is scary to you....we got it. You're great at make pretend risks....lol. Let us know how your make pretend young O genius does in his make pretend game. Hopefully you win your make pretend MNC.

So you deflect to the answer that you've used 1,069 times in this thread. That's so predictable.
Hiring the young O geniuses and f ing it up gets dudes fired you silly (see risk sentence)
she didn’t get fired and was a huge part of 1-11
Who is Sandy Barbour, the New Penn State Athletic Director?
Sandy Barbour was the athletic director at Penn State from 2014 to 2022. She was recognized as one of the most powerful women in sports in the United States by Forbes.

I'm just happy I'm not gonna be at the bar he's at tonight with the party of 25 rooting against Franklin. It's happened at games in Beaver stadium and I had to really had to restrain myself from violence.

He’s underperformed way worse than Franklin if you use the same criteria to judge him by that you use to judge Franklin. He’s never beat anyone other than the blue hens.

This would actually be different than baseball if you’re talking about batting averages, right? 3-4 would be hitting .750, not .429.
Thanks for ruining my set-up. I had it all planned out! Well, spilled milk. Happy New Year!

Actually, Sandy was a huge part of what held the program back but that had nothing to do with the head coach.

Did she actively search out Coach the ricks YOG?
No. She did little to no fundraising and put the program behind at least 2 years with NIL. Kraft understands that football runs the athletic department $$$ and has stated such, and treated it as such. She just didn't understand or chose not to acknowledge it.

Have a good time tonight cheering for Boise and hoping he gets fired. Strange hill to die on but you're a Philly fan so I understand. 😏✌️

We’re 11 point favs. Coach always (97%) beats teams he’s supposed to. You think he beats O or OSU tonight if that’s how it played out? I def don’t.
Being favored that much, and so often, is the sign of a good program.

Recruiting, facilities, staff, development, transfer portal, everything. Franklin is ultimately responsible for all of it, and all of it is going pretty damn well.

Yes I want Penn State to beat Ohio State more often. Probably more than anybody. But really I want Penn State to elevate from a 12-15th type program to a consistent top10 program. And it all starts with Rick's car money.

Calculating the win percentage from 4 W 17 L is not a math flex. It’s important, very important, that you understand this. Do yourself (and all of us) a favor and get to some serious soul searching, okay? Not. A. Math. Flex.
I’m pretty sure he once told me he used to bid jobs for a construction company. 😳
