And not very smart, but of course the players and coaches never care as much as our super fans who give up after the first bad play.Your claim that the players didn’t care is WAY out of line

Agree. They cared until the game ended. They were fighting on the final drive.Your claim that the players didn’t care is WAY out of line
I am just absolutely perplexed how someone can head on organization as massive as Penn State football and still make mistakes like that. I’ve said that sooo many times. I don’t pretend for a second I could do well, most of the things JF does, but yet I would never bone such a fundamentally simple decision. In spite our offense playing terrible today we still had a legit shot late in the game. The 4th down call by Franklin with that much time left is inexcusable. You give your defense a chance to make something happen. For all he does well I just can't understand how he loses site of basic football 101.
Agree. McCord is in this third year. He couldn’t beat out Stroud and he struggled to start this year.Yep....just shows what one more year in a program means. I'm referring to McCord. This was only his 7th start too. But he is a junior as opposed to sophomore. Drew seemed rattled at times....and did notice him crying on the sidelines as the clock round down. Not good.
How he responds to this may define him.I hope he accepts his role in this hot mess today, grows from it, and becomes a better Penn State QB and better leader.
Yo, you’re not a football coach, you dont have to be in the profession to call out BS. Are you an actor? Do you have an opinion on JAWS 6? What you’re seeing is obvious to all, even the rick, retired constructionI am just absolutely perplexed how someone can head on organization as massive as Penn State football and still make mistakes like that. They didn't play until that last drive. I should have been suspicious when the BWI guys hyped Cephas when he transferred. Like he was going to be the next Dotson. The first time I recall seeing Saunders and Cephas was the last drive. They made an impact. Did I miss them playing earlier?
That is so true and so comical. And not very smart, but of course the players and coaches never care as much as our super fans who give up after the first bad play.

point being a lot of folks saying joe lost it his last 10 years that would mean 2002 and on
2005 was quite a special team
with 2008 and 2009 also being pretty good teams

That’s not what I’m saying. I think they should play a little more during the game. I thought they got open and made catches. Penn State was still trying to win. They didn't play until that last drive. I should have been suspicious when the BWI guys hyped Cephas when he transferred. Like he was going to be the next Dotson.
Honestly bro, it really doesn’t matter in the least How we respondHow we respond to this may define us.

No doubt Allar played terrible today, although not all of it should be put at his feet. In spite of his performance Allar is still a stud. We lost to a top 5 team on the road while having our worst offensive output in over two years or longer. Our head coach has to be smarter in that situation.I agree with that. Despite all the complaining about Franklin, I think that was the only bone headed thing he did. Allar was terrible. I realize that the receivers didn’t get much separation but there were too many times when guys were open and he repeatedly missed them badly. I also thought he felt pressure when guys were 3 and 4 yards away from him and didn’t step into the throws. MY’s predictable and conservative play calls on early downs didn’t help him any either.
Yeah it’s not good. He was truly bad but MY’s play calling didn’t help. Too many times he put him in 3rd and long. It’s his job to put the kid in position to succeed not fail.Yep....just shows what one more year in a program means. I'm referring to McCord. This was only his 7th start too. Not correct Cephas was in at least for one play in the 3rd quarter and he and one of the TEs were within 5 yards of each other. They didn’t play all game
Tis very true. This is not a very good Ohio State team and it was our best chance to beat them for the foreseeable future.
Let’s hope. Sometimes there is no better lesson than a hard lesson. We shall seeI hope he accepts his role in this hot mess today, grows from it, and becomes a better Penn State QB and better leader.
Yep, the reverse flea-flicker that had zero chance of working. Not correct Cephas was in at least for one play in the 3rd quarter and he and one of the TEs were within 5 yards of each other.
Cephas didn’t play much. Neither did Saunders. Give them more of a chance? Not correct Cephas was in at least for one play in the 3rd quarter and he and one of the TEs were within 5 yards of each other.
Is this your first year as a PSU fan under Franklin? It maybe to early to say this but I believe that this team still has the talent to run the rest of our schedule. Our defense is one of the top 3 in all of college football and we have Michigan at home. It's time to get our running game involved and help our young 5 star quarterback out. I felt like that was going to be the plan all year and am very disappointed that it hasn't been.
GO STATE BEAT INDIANA is all that matters. You know thisNo doubt Allar played terrible today, although not all of it should be put at his feet. In spite of his performance Allar is still a stud. We lost to a top 5 team on the road while having our worst offensive output in over two years or longer. Our head coach has to be smarter in that situation.
Don’t matter at allCephas didn’t play much. Neither did Saunders. Give them more of a chance?
What do you mean? Explain?Don’t matter at all
Exactly, we still may not win that game but it tells your team your still in and keep fighting. It was a massive tactical error.I am just absolutely perplexed how someone can head on organization as massive as Penn State football and still make mistakes like that. I’ve said that sooo many times. I don’t pretend for a second I could do well, most of the things JF does, but yet I would never bone such a fundamentally simple decision.
With this cheating scandal going on, maybe you catch them distracted. Otherwise they’ll be out for blood against everyone. Is this your first year as a PSU fan under Franklin? You think he's getting it done vs a Michigan team whose defense might be even better than OSU's and an offense that won't be afraid to ground and pound us like they did last year? I'd put over/under on dumb decisions in that game at 4 1/2 and that might be conservative.
I know I'm beating a dead horse but somebody in the media needs to put CJF on the spot and make him understand that when the chips are on the line you trust the guys that got you there (Defense) and not the guys who didn't (Offense). He needs to stop stealing our opportunities to win with his poor decisions in the important moments.
He needs to be publicly held accountable for once again going for it on 4th down instead of trusting our Defense and making OSU go the length of the field. It's a losing thought process that has happened before and it needs to stop.
I’m saying that back ups wouldn’t change the outcome ….cause they’re backupsWhat do you mean? Explain?
Also, what is laKavosiey-st lion?
You let your awesome D hold them to 3 and out, basically exchange punts and try again.Exactly, we still may not win that game but it tells your team your still in and keep fighting. It was a massive tactical error.
